ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari gave his consent to the controversial contempt of court amendment bill on Thursday, Express News has reported.
The bill will provide immunity from contempt proceedings to high office holders, including the prime minister, president, chief ministers, federal and provincial ministers as well as governors.
And now duel starts between parliament and judiciary.
