One of the video’s made at the Union Square “Muslims for Life,” blood drive, by Ahmad Chaudhry and Salaam Bhatti of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, was nominated as a Finalist by CNN iReports. Only 36 out of over 15,000 videos were chosen as finalists. It was nominated in the “Interview” category. It is entitled, “NY Muslims Commemorate 9/11 with Blood Drive”. Please endorse it in CNN and pass to family and friends if you like.

Thanks for voting. Salaam Bhatti and I made the video at our blood drive in New York City. In making the video, I was truly surprised at the positive responses we got from passerby’s. It seemed they genuinely appreciated our efforts. And we had a some great volunteers that were able to raise 131 units of blood in just a few hours.
If we get the most votes for the video, it will be a great way to publicize the Muslims for Life campaign that was already a huge success.
