A national Muslim organization will make a return visit to Midland this weekend to promote religious harmony and dispel misconceptions about Islam.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association of Canada will host an open house called “Tribute to Mother Mary (An Islamic Perspective).” It will take place Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Midland Public Library.
In the past year, the group has visited 238 towns across Canada, reaching out to an estimated 1.2 million people. It first came to Midland last September for an open house on the Qur’an, the Islamic holy book.
