The number of requests for asylum in Germany rose by 11 percent. A country of origin, stands out particularly. The number of asylum seekers from Pakistan has tripled compared to last year.
Over 2,500 Pakistanis have applied in 2011 for asylum in Germany. These are not as many as from Afghanistan, Iraq or Syria though. Noticeably, however, that the number of Pakistanis has tripled in one year. A total of 2011 our of nearly 46,000 people have applied for asylum in Germany. In recent years there has been no radical change in Pakistan as in the Arab world, which might explain this increase. The reason for this is difficult to measure.
An Interior Ministry spokesman said to the German Turkish News: “A clear identification of the factors for the increase in the number of asylum seekers in Germany from Pakistan by 840 (2010) to 2.539 (2011). “Plausible hypothesis is to the Ministry that it could be in the group of refugees from Pakistan who are Ahmadiyya followers.
It is striking that two thirds of asylum seekers belong to this Islamic religious community. The crimes against Ahmadis have increased in recent years (a Christian in Pakistan had to face similar problems – more here). “In many cases, Ahmadis have become victims of sectarian violence: 2010 99 Ahmadis were murdered because of their religious affiliation, 86 of them died in a terrorist attack by the Taliban in Lahore,” the ministry said.
Further evidence of the reason for the flight from Pakistan was the “Human Development Report 2011” of the United Nations Development Programme. Here Pakistan ranked 145, and “making it one of the least developed countries. Therefore, economic motives are also likely form a significant role for the migration decision, “the spokesman continued.
The Ahmadiyya Community was in the 19th Century by Mirza Ahmad ghouls founded in India. He described himself as the Messiah, was still alive and saw his role in the unification of all religions, which resulted in resistance to other Islamic communities.

With older Pakistani Immigrants of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community obtaining German passports many of them move to England. Consequently the German Ahmadiyya Community probably did not grow.
To some extent you are right. Almost same number migrated to UK and same number landed as new comers. However child birth and coversion from other nationalities causing in any case some growth.
What’s the approximate total Ahmadiyya Population in Germany?
