Ahmadiyya Muslim Community announcing a new website!

lislamForWest.org is the official website of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to present Islam to the Christian, agnostic and atheist readers, in a user friendly fashion.  In addition to the Homepage, please also visit the page on ‘Revelation,’ as a large portion of the Western society, agnostics and atheists are now in complete denial of any revelation, whatsoever!

The top of the Homepage has a carousel, which offers five different posts to invite and awaken from a slumber, our Christian and agnostic brothers and sisters.  For example, the first post is titled:

What can a Christian or an agnostic gain in Islam?

It starts of by claiming the following and the proofs are detailed later: 

A true seeker, whether a Christian, an agnostic or an atheist or coming from whatever background can gain the following and much more by coming to the true understanding of Islam:

1. A Living God.

2. Peace of Mind.

3. Unification of one’s science and theology.

4. Restoration of family values.

5. Greater likelihood of recovery from addictions.

6. Many new insights.

This is a forum, where non-Muslim readers can ask genuine questions, which are encouraged.  This will, however, be moderated and hate speech, slander and abuse will be censored.

The Featured Picture

It resonates with the saying of the Messiah, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani quoted below, which serves as a good starting point, to harmonize religion and science:

The God of Islam is the same God who is visible in the mirror of the law of nature and is discernible in the book of nature. Islam has not presented a new God but has presented the same God Who is presented by the light of man’s heart, by the conscience of man, and by heaven and earth. (Tableegh-e-Risalat, Vol. VI, p. 15).

    Sir Attenborough certainly stands in awe of the majesty of nature but raises the question of suffering to deny God. Let me quote here the concluding paragraph, in the later editions of the legendary book of Sir Charles Darwin, on the Origin of Species that can make one quickly conceptualize the role of suffering in the grand scheme of things:

    From the war of nature, from famine and death, the most exalted object which we are capable of conceiving, namely, the production of the higher animals, directly follows. There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been breathed, by the Creator, into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved.

    Once the question about suffering is understood as a tool for evolution, as Charles Darwin suggested, then one is ready to fully appreciate the beauty of God’s creation as suggested by many of the verses of the Holy Quran.

  9. Suffering is best understood in the context of accountability, development and eternity of soul. Our short stay on earth is nothing as compared to the unimaginable realms and dimensions of life hereafter. The world is a stage and a trial to develop our soul to achieve better status. Suffering is a vehicle to reach the destination quicker and faster.
    If we try to limit the suffering and accountability process to this world then we encounter difficulty in understanding the entire process. If we try to encompass the magnificence of universe; its age, beauties and bounties, course and limitlessness; then we cannot deny that the human being is not just a brief rider on abode.
    Most of the religious scriptures stress upon this point. Metaphysics development is making us believe in these scriptures from scientific point of view.
