If Jesus Christ died for three days he could not be eternal, at least not any longer!

Most Christians believe in Trinity:

The Christian doctrine of the Trinity defines God as three divine persons (Greek: ὑποστάσεις):[1] the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. The three persons are distinct yet coexist in unity, and are co-equal, co-eternal and consubstantial (Greek: ὁμοούσιοι). Put another way, the three persons of the Trinity are of one being (Greek: οὐσία).[2] The Trinity is considered to be a mystery of Christian faith.[3]

Countless logical and fool proof arguments can be given against Trinity, but, today let me offer two very simple ones:

The term ‘begotten,’ is used for Jesus, which suggests that Jesus the Son was not eternal with God the Father. Secondly, when he died for three days after crucifixion, he lost any claim to eternity, if he had any before.

Trinity has only one claim to fame, it is Paradox Par Excellence. From whatever angle you examine it, it yields new proofs against itself on a regular basis.

May I humbly suggest that it is time to move on from Trinitarianism, not to atheism, but to genuine Unitarianism, be it Unitarian Christianity, Judaism or Islam!

  1. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community launches a new state of the art website, to engage Christian, agnostic and atheist readers.

Especially check out the Homepage and page about ‘Revelation,’ which is important as the secular world is in denial of it altogether.

Find the link in the Muslim Times or try: http://islamforwest.org/

Comments and suggestions are always welcome.
