ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that former President Pervaiz Musharraf should be arrested on his return to Pakistan, reported Express News on Sunday.

Malik, while speaking to the media outside his house after meeting former Water and Power Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, said that the court had declared Musharraf a proclaimed offender.

Senior Special Prosecutor M Azhar Chaudhry had also talked on Saturday regarding the arrest of Musharraf and said that there was no need to issue new warrants for his arrest.

Musharraf had earlier been declared a proclaimed offender by the Anti-Terrorism Court in Rawalpindi for his failure to cooperate with investigators in the case.
