Queer, isn’t it? After all the deaths (4,500 Americans), financial loss (US$. 800-billion), waste of time (9-years in the lurch) and it’s weakened economy (begging bowl towards one time sick man of Asia, China), the “Cowboy” simply hasn’t lost any of it’s appetite for more “mis-adventures”. It has it’s eyes set on Iran, pfff !! .. It is after all a brawl loving nation. It’s cowboy mentality and beer-bar “brawling” is in it’s very blood cells. And know what, even though like a true cowboy it rides into the dusk of it’s glory .. it simply refuses to accept the fact that it is indeed slowly but surely fading into ignonimity. Well done cowboy !!

Note by the editor: It is amazing how the US can pretend any ‘achievement’ (they do not call it victory at least) in the Iraq occupation. Do they believe their own propaganda I wonder (I am afraid so).

Iraq and US 2
Nine years on, and four and a half thousands soldiers “poorer” — not to speak of the trillions spent, US Defense Secretary Leon Pannetta decides to “shut shop” in Iraq, with an arrogant nondefeatist tone, proclaiming that every drop of blood, and every dollar spent was “worth it.”
One irony of this, and other wars that the US has fought over the years, is that, the American electorate still “swallows” this war-talk — still votes in a pro-war Bush-like candidate — a belligerent stance, that has emptied the fiscus of a once mighty nation, whose preamble since World War II, has been to preserve and protect, and be the arsenal of democracy.
Instead, interventionary Big Brother tactics cost them their prestige, and what is left today is a “shadow” of the once invincible US!

Senior Bush claimed a win after the first gulf war and uttered the words,” we kicked the Vietnam syndrome”. I wonder who will the next target for revenge after the failure in Iraq. Is it will be Iran or Syria? It depends upon, what Israel want.
