During the visit of Sarkozy and Cameron to Benghazi the militias of the new Libyan Government were told to ‘step back’ and 300 French commandos secured the area around the meeting place.

I think by this act Sarkozy just lost some of the ‘star appeal’ that he had before his visit. Hopefully he does not visit too frequently, otherwise non of the ‘star appeal’ will remain.
