King Abdullah’s initiative is aimed at world peace through interfaith dialogue

Messengers of peace” is the message of Islam as well as other religions. Ever since the beginning of creation, peace has been the nature of human beings, despite the differences in their cultures and civilizations. It was a great blessing from God.

The language of peace is a noble and humanitarian message that reinforces the concepts of dialogue, interaction, giving and helping others. This is the reason that encouraged Saudi Arabia to adopt this message and launch a global initiative with the support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah.

How can a single person direct the world to this pure instinct? He inspires millions to believe in its destiny. In a world where war drums are beaten and divisions erupt in the corridors of big powers, an international leader stands up to lead the world to a new direction, the road to peace and dialogue.

It seemed impossible, but the man was determined to confront hate and lack of confidence and succeeded in giving hopes to millions of young men and women around the globe.

The king believed that by enlightening the public and creating awareness among them, he would be able to realize his vision. He began his mission from his country and brought together the best of his people for national dialogues aimed at creating a consensus among Saudi citizens for the sake of their country’s future. The dialogue forums were also aimed at developing a kind of consensus among citizens on major issues such as peace and security, family relations, bigotry, regionalism, extremism, youth issues and aspirations, women’s rights, education, employment, health and the media.
