This scripture is sent down from God, the Mighty, the Wise. Indeed, in the heavens and the earth are Signs for those who believe. Likewise in your own creation, and in that of all the creatures that He spreads out in the earth are Signs for a people who possess firm faith. Also in the alternation of the night and the day, and in the provision that God sends down from the sky, whereby He revives the earth after its death, and in the courses of the winds, are Signs for a people who use their understanding. These are the Signs of God that We rehearse unto you with truth. Then leaving aside God and His Signs, what is it that they will believe? (Al Quran 45:2-6)

Almost every Surah of the Quran presents Monotheism in one metaphor or the other; often presenting God the Creator and arguing from tangible to the intangible. Several Surahs have long passages presenting God the Creator to the whole of humanity.
Today I am focused on the opening verses of chapter 45.
In these verses quoted as Epigraph, there is a specific mention of all the animal species as Signs for God or as a proof for the Creator God of the Abrahamic faiths. It is thought that all together there are some nine million species of animals and plants at present in our planet.
