Al Hakam Week 25th September 2026
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، رضى الله عنه أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: لاَ يَحِلُّ لِلْمَرْأَةِ أَنْ تَصُومَ وَزَوْجُهَا شَاهِدٌ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ، وَلاَ تَأْذَنَ فِي بَيْتِهِ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ، وَمَا أَنْفَقَتْ مِنْ نَفَقَةٍ عَنْ غَيْرِ أَمْرِهِ فَإِنَّهُ يُؤَدَّى إِلَيْهِ شَطْرُهُ.
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (ra) narrated that the Holy Prophet (sa) said, “It is not lawful for a woman to observe a voluntary fast while her husband is present without his permission, nor may she permit anyone to enter his house without his permission. Whatever she spends [in charity from his wealth] without his specific instruction, he shall receive half of its reward.”
