In the name of Allah, The most gracious, the ever merciful
Majlid Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Mumbai Organized “Wiqare Amal” under the banner of “Swacch Bharat Abhiyan” on 1st feb 2015 from 7:15 to 12:15 in which more than 25 volunteers from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association of Mumbai took to the streets, 2 Gardens and One Service Lane of Mumbai central Railway Station.
Under the guidance of Qaid Mumbai the program started with Fajr Namaz followed by dars-ul-Quran and dua. Then we split into groups and started to clean up, sweeping and garbage cleaning.
All Khuddam and Atfal joined hands and worked very enthusiastically.
Mumbai Central is a renowned and located in the heart of the Financial Capital of India, it is very close and walk-able distance to Mumbai mission house. Mumbai central station is one busiest railway station of India.
After more than 5 hours of nonstop cleaning, we literally changed the look & feel of Garden areas which had become a sort of garbage-dumping-ground for public.
The Railway, RPF officials and passerby were delighted as well as astounded by this service rendered by this handful of people. They praised the commitment shown by the community.
On visiting the place, we identified that there is a lot more to be done for the locality so that the place becomes better for people who come there for travel and refreshments. We have decided to do frequent Waqar e Amal here in future as well, InshAllah.
Our Two bold banners attracted many and become a source of introduction to Islam Ahmadiyyat.
President In-charge and Zaim Ansarullah Mumbai have been real proactive and participated to highten enthusiasm of all volunteers.
There was arrangement of breakfast, after having we again concluded our work with dua and prayed to Allah to accept our work, and bless us to do it more often.
