There is consensus that Hazrat Aisha was 10 years younger than her elder sister Asma, whose age at the time of the hijrah, or migration to Madina, was about 28. It can be concluded that Hazrat Aisha was about 18 years old at migration. On her moving to the Prophet’s house, she was a young woman at 21. Hisham is the single narrator of the hadith whose authenticity is challenged, for it does not correlate with the many historical facts of the time.
I have read part of the opening post. The referred Hadith being a singular (Ahaad) is not reliable as per rules.
Also, it is well known that all the children of Hazrat Abu bakr Rz.a. were borne before the the prophet s.a.w.s. received the first Wahi, i.e. year 610 A.D. The prophet s.a.w.s. migrated to Madinah in year 0622 A.D. That is 12 years after first Wahi or 13 years in Makkah.
Hazrat Aisha Rz.a. joined her husband after the migration. That makes her age more than 14 years at the time of marriage. Wassalam.

Jazakallah Ghulam Sarwar sahib. I am not sure I understand your comment. Can you please read the whole article and offer comments? I am very interested to learn about this subject.
I have changed the excerpt above to ensure that it is consistent with the conclusion of the article.
Thank you Atif Mir, I was only stressing that the news of Hazrat Aisha’s age at marriage being described as six years or nine years was false.
I did not know that complete detail.
Now I have understood this matter. I should have written in my post that her age at marriage was at least 14 years and that would have been more appropriate.
Can any one inform me how this matter of Hazrat Aisha Rz.a. age has been resolved once and forever by Qasim Rashid, as mentioned by Zeeshan Zakaria in 2nd comment?
Wassalam.

Hazrat Aisha was 19, not 9
The truth about Muhammad and Aisha
Assalamu alaikum
For me, it doesn´t matter what her age was.
When a girl starts menstruating, she is by nature ready for marriage. Age difference have nothing to say.
