Dear reader: Peace be with you and the mercy and blessings of the God, in this life and in the Hereafter.

Introducing ‘Truth’ to the world: [3:61]: This is the truth from thy Lord, so be thou not of those who doubt.

THQ3: Allah On The Holy Qur’an

[1:1] In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

[2:3-4]: This is a perfect Book; there is no doubt in it; it is a guidance for the righteous, who believe in the unseen and observe Prayer and spend out of what We have provided for them;

[10:2] …These are the verses of the Book that is full of wisdom.

The Quran…

Is the direct Word of God and contains complete guidance for mankind.

Is a compilation of the verbal revelations given to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) by the Angel Gabriel on the command of God over a period of approximately twenty three years.

The Holy Quran was revealed more than 1400 years ago.

The language of the Quran is Arabic.

The text of the Holy Quran has remained unchanged over the past 1400 years. The millions of copies circulating all around the world, followed by 73 sections of Muslims, is one and the same, word-to-word; all copies are identical down to a single letter. And this is not strange since God says in the Holy Quran that He Himself will guard this book:

“Verily, it is We Who have sent down this Exhortation, and most surely We are its guardians.”(15:10)

Much of the Quran is about God, His attributes, man’s relationship to Him, the nature of the spiritual World and the hereafter, etc. It also contains directives for its followers (The Law and Commandments), historical accounts of certain prophets and peoples, prophecies, and good news for the believers and warnings for the disbelievers. It also contains codes for their social and moral behavior, and a comprehensive religious philosophy.

The Holy Qur’an is a grand and glorious Word of God. It is (al-Kitab) the Preserved Book;

As Allah says: Therein are the lasting commandments/Teachings. (Ch.98:V.4)

The Qur’an is the last divine scripture for mankind. It is the final revealed Book or the guidance of humanity, and is intended for all peoples of all times. Its laws are of universal and permanent character and they admit of no change or amendment. The Qur’an itself lays claim, in no ambiguous terms, to being the final and most perfect code of all revealed laws.

Please note: English version of the Arabic Qur’an uses the word ‘We’ whenever God speaks of Himself – it is the Royal Plural commonly used in the Arabic language. So please do not mistake it for an indication of there being several gods. God is One, just One.

Guys! If you are not able to understand or submit to any of Qur’anic teachings, it’s not your fault for it is said about the Qur’an that:

… the knowledge revealed to this great prophet would be of such a high quality that without purification a person would be unable to gain its understudying.

C’mon, give it a go!

~***~

We have left out nothing in the Book. (Ch.6:V.39)
Therein are the everlasting teachings. (Ch.98:Vs.3-4)
It is a decisive word, And it is not a useless talk. (Ch.86:Vs.14-15)

And, indeed, We have set forth for mankind all manner of parables in this Qur’an that they may take heed. (Ch.39:V.28)

It is but a Reminder and a Qur’an that expounds and makes things plain, that it may warn all who are alive, and that the decree of Allah against the disbelievers may come to pass. (Ch.36:V.70-71)

“And if you are in doubt as to what We have sent down to Our servant, then produce a chapter like it, and call upon your helpers besides Allah, if you are truthful.” (The Holy Quran 2:24)

~***~

The Holy Qur’an is…

Al’Kutub: The Arabic word kutub means ‘books’ and signifies that the Holy Qur’an is a compilation of all the holy books that were scattered throughout the earth. The Holy Qur’an contains every big and small information and guidelines on every matter that we might come across in our life or those which we need for our moral and spiritual advancement, including every beneficial, universal and eternal principle and precept from the earlier scriptures.

Every eternal truth relating to Divine knowledge which is needed by man is been included in the Holy Qur’an.

The Holy Qur’an is…

Al-Huda, the Guide, the perfect scripture that guides man to attain the highest ranks, righteousness and the highest degree of God-consciousness, as it says: … It is a guidance for the righteous. (Ch.2:V.3)

Al-Nur, the Light;

Al-‘Aziz and Al-‘Azeem, the Mighty and Great, that makes great kings fall down before it in prostration, that cracks the hardest hearts and instills fear in the most powerful men.
Al-Majid, the Glorious;

Al-Karim, the Noble that grants man a dignified and honorable bearing

Al-Mubarak, the Blessed, that helps man to live a rich, full and abundantly blessed life.

Al-Burhan, the Clear Argument and Proof;

Al-Bayan, the Clear Exposition;

Al-Hikmah, the Wisdom;

Al-Haqq the Truth;

Al-Furqan, the Distinguisher of right from wrong, and through its verses one gains the capacity and ability to speak truth plainly and eloquently and to rebut and refute any allegation or attack;

Al-Mutahharah, the Purified, and is the source to purify and cleanse man of the dross and dirt of sin and transgression.

Al Dhikr, The Exposition;

Al Tanzil, The Revelation;

Al Hikmat, The Wisdom;

Al Hukm, The Judgment;

Al Mau’izah, The Admonition;

Al Rahmat, The Mercy;

It fulfills the revelation of Moses (as) told ages ago: ‘a fiery law’ from Deuteronomy [33:2]

The Challenge Of The Holy Quran

“And if you are in doubt as to what We have sent down to Our servant, then produce a chapter like it, and call upon your helpers besides Allah, if you are truthful.” (The Holy Quran 2:24)

It would not be possible for this Quran to be devised by anyone except Allah. There is no doubt about it; it is from the Lord of the worlds.

Do they say: He has fabricated it? Say to them: In that case, bring a chapter like unto it, and call for help on all you can apart from Allah, if you are truthful. (The Holy Quran, 10:39)

17:89: If men and jinn should gather together to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like thereof, even though they should help one another.

[So that’s an open challenge you see, any takers?]

[2: 2-3] Alif, Lam, Mim. This is a perfect Book; there is no doubt in it; it is a guidance for the righteous,

[56: 78. This is, indeed, a noble Qur’an,
[56: 79. In a well-preserved Book.
[98: 4. Wherein are lasting commandments.

[39: 24. ALLAH has sent down the Best Discourse – a Book, whose verses are mutually supporting and repeated in diverse forms. The skins of those, who fear their Lord, do creep at its recital, then their skins and their hearts soften to the remembrance of ALLAH. Such is the guidance of ALLAH. HE guides therewith whom HE pleases. And he whom ALLAH adjudges astray – he shall have no guide.

~*~

[43: 2] Ha Mim. 43: 3. WE cite as evidence this perspicuous Book,

[43: 4] WE have made it a Book to be oft read in clear, eloquent language that you may understand.

[43: 5] And, surely, it is safe with US in the Mother of the Book, exalted and full of wisdom.

[17: 89] Say, `If men and jinn should gather together to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like thereof, even though they should help one another.’

[17: 90] And surely We have set forth for mankind in various ways all kinds of similitudes in this Qur’an, but most men would reject everything in respect of it but disbelief.

[6: 93] And this is a Book which WE have revealed, full of blessings, to fulfill that which preceded it, and to enable thee to warn the Mother of towns and those around her. And those, who believe in the Hereafter, believe therein and they strictly observe their Prayers.

[6:156] And this is a Book which WE have sent down; full of blessings. So follow it, and guard against evils that you may be shown mercy,

[17: 83] And WE gradually reveal of the Qur’an that which is healing and a mercy to believers; but it only adds to the loss of the wrongdoers.

And let there be among you a body of men who should invite to goodness, and enjoin equity and forbid evil. And it is they who shall prosper. (3:103-105)

[2:24-25] And if you are in doubt as to what We have sent down to Our servant, then produce a Chapter like it, and call upon your helpers beside Allah, if you are truthful. But if you do it not — and never shall you do it — then guard against the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, which is prepared for the disbelievers.

ALLAH / ISLAM ON QUR’AN: Part-2

[26:3] These are verses of the clear Book.

[26:7] They have, indeed, treated it as a lie, but soon there will come to them the tidings of that at which they mocked.

[26:9] In that there is a Sign indeed; but most of these would not believe.

[26:193] And verily this is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.

[26:194] The Spirit, Faithful to the Trust, has descended with it.

[26:195] On thy heart, that thou mayest be of the Warners,

[26:196] In plain and clear Arabic tongue.

[26:197] And it is surely mentioned in the Scriptures of the former peoples.

[26:198] And is it not a Sign to them that the learned among the children of Israel know it?

[26:199] And if We had sent it down to one of the non-Arabs,

[26:200] And he had read it to them, even then they would never have believed in it.

[26:201] Thus have We caused it (disbelief) to enter into the hearts of the sinful.

[26:202] They will not believe in it until they see the grievous punishment.

[26:203] But it will come upon them suddenly, while they know not,

[26:206] What thinkest thou? If We let them enjoy the good things of this world for years;

[26:207] Then there comes to them that with which they are threatened.

[26:208] Of no avail shall be to them that which they were allowed to enjoy.

[26:209] And never did We destroy any township but it had Warners.

[26:210] This is an admonition; and We are not unjust.

ALLAH / ISLAM ON QUR’AN: Part-3

This Book resolves all the contentions that might arise with regard to the hereafter also. Read Quran to know the past, the present and the future.

And We have sent down to thee the Book to explain everything and a guidance and a mercy and glad tidings to those who submit to Allah. (The Holy Quran 16:90)

~***~

These are the Signs of Allah which We rehearse unto thee with truth. In what word, then, after rejecting the Word of Allah and His Signs, will they believe? (The Holy Quran, 45:7)

It is obvious that, for us Muslims, the Holy Qur’an is an authority of the highest grade ………‘Surely conjecture avails naught (nothing) against truth.’ (10:37)

Allah says about the Holy Qur’an that it is a:

(54:6) Consummate wisdom; A cure for the souls; (86:14) Surely, the Qur’an is a decisive word.

14:2: This is a Book which We have revealed to thee that thou mayest bring mankind out of the depths of darkness into light, by the command of their Lord, to the path of the Mighty, the Praiseworthy.

May Allah have mercy on all mankind and pour the glory and beauty of the Holy Qur’an into our hearts, minds and souls, so that we may become brilliant beacons of light. Aameen.

Prophets & Books of the past, the present and the future… Who is the perfect one? Which to follow?

As for all Prophets of the past, there is no need left to follow them independently because the Prophethood of Muhammad (saw) comprises them all and encompasses them.

As for all Books of the past, there is no need left to follow them independently because The Lord’s word recorded in the Book Quran comprises all Books of the past… as the holy Quran says:

[3:4-5]: He has sent down to thee the Book containing the truth and fulfilling that which precedes it; and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel before this, as a guidance to the people. And He has sent down the Discrimination. Surely those who deny the Signs of Allah shall have a severe punishment. And Allah is the Mighty, Lord of retribution.

Quran-e-Kareem:

Do they say: He has fabricated it? Say to them: In that case, bring a chapter like unto it, and call for help on all you can apart from Allah, if you are truthful. (The Holy Quran, 10:39)

[17:89]: If men and jinn should gather together to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like thereof, even though they should help one another.

[10:38] And this Qur’an is not such as might be devised by any one except Allah. On the contrary, it fulfils that which is before it and is an exposition of the Law of God. There is no doubt about it. It is from the Lord of the worlds.

[10:39] Do they say, ‘He has forged it?’ Say, ‘Bring then a Surah like unto it, and call for help on all you can besides Allah, if you are truthful.’

[10:42] And if they accuse thee of lying, say, ‘For me is my work and for you is your work. You are not responsible for what I do and I am not responsible for what you do.’

[14:46] ‘And you dwell in the dwellings of those who wronged themselves, and it has become plain to you how We dealt with them; and We have set forth clear parables for you.’

[14:53] This is a sufficient admonition for mankind that they may benefit by it, and that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is the only One God, and that those possessed of understanding may ponder.

[12:1] In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

[12:2] Alif Lam Ra. These are verses of the clear Book.

[12:3] We have revealed it — the Qur’an in Arabic — that you may understand.

[12:4] We narrate unto thee the most beautiful narration by revealing to thee this Qur’an, though thou wast, before this, of those not possessed of requisite knowledge.

[12:112] Assuredly, in their narrative is a lesson for men of understanding. It is not a thing that has been forged, but a fulfillment of that which is before it and a detailed exposition of all things, and a guidance and a mercy to a people who believe.

Allah / Islam On Qur’an: Part-4

[13:2] Alif Lam Mim Ra. These are verses of the Book. And that which has been revealed to thee from thy Lord is the truth, but most men believe not.

[13:38] And thus have We revealed it as a clear judgment. And if thou follow their evil desires after the knowledge that has come to thee, thou shalt have no friend nor defender against Allah.

[14:2] Alif Lam Ra. This is a Book which We have revealed to thee that thou mayest bring mankind out of every kind of darkness into light, by the command of their Lord, to the path of the Mighty, the Praiseworthy —

[14:3] Allah, to Whom belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. And woe to the disbelievers for a terrible punishment:

[14:25] Dost thou not see how Allah sets forth the similitude of a good word? It is like a good tree, whose root is firm and whose branches reach into heaven.

[15:2] Alif Lam Ra. These are verses of the Book and of the illuminating Qur’an.

[15:10] Verily, We Ourself have sent down this Exhortation, and most surely We will be its Guardian.

[15:14] They believe not therein, though the example of the former peoples has gone before them.

[15:76] Surely, in this are Signs for those who can read signs.
[15:78] Surely, in this is a Sign for believers.

[16:99] And when thou recitest the Qur’an, seek refuge with Allah from Satan the rejected.

[16:100] Surely, he has no power over those who believe and who put their trust in their Lord.

[16:101] His power is only over those who make friends with him and who set up equals to Him.

[17:10] Surely, this Qur’an guides to what is most right; and gives to the believers who do good deeds the glad tidings that they shall have a great reward.

[21:51] And this is a blessed Reminder that We have sent down; will you then reject it?

[11:1] In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

[11:2] Alif Lam Ra. This is a Book whose verses have been made unchangeable and then they have been expounded in detail. It is from One Wise, and All-Aware.

[11:3] It teaches that you should worship none but Allah. I am to you a Warner, and a bearer of glad tidings from Him;

Qur’an categorically rejects in the human potential to completely encompass even a small portion of God’s knowledge without his aid and permission:

…and they encompass nothing of His [God’s] knowledge except what He pleases… (Ch.2:V.256)

Every era which opens up a new vista of knowledge is in accordance with the Divine plan & design. Qur’an further elaborates the verse saying: ‘And there is not a thing but are limitless treasures thereof with us and We send it not down except in well-defined and calculated (known) measure. (Ch.15:V22)

If we had sent down this Qur’an on a mountain, thou wouldst certainly have seen it humbled and rent asunder for fear of Allah. And these are the similitudes that We set forth for mankind that they may reflect. (Ch.59:V.22)

[17:42] We have explained the truth in this Qur’an in the various ways that they may be admonished, but it only increases them in aversion.

[17:83] And We are gradually revealing of the Qur’an that which is a healing and a mercy to the believers; but it only adds to the loss of the wrongdoers.

[17:89] Say, ‘If mankind and the Jinn gathered together to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like thereof, even though they should help one another.’

[17:90] And surely, We have set forth for mankind in various ways all kinds of similitudes in this Qur’an, but most men would reject everything but disbelief.

[17:107] And the Qur’an We have revealed in pieces that thou mayest read it to mankind at intervals, and We have sent it down piecemeal.

[17:108] Say, “Whether you believe therein or believe not, those to whom knowledge has been given before it, do fall down prostrate on their faces when it is recited to them,

[18:2] All praise belongs to Allah Who has sent down the Book to His servant and has not put therein any crookedness.

[18:3] He has made it a guardian, that it may give warning of a grievous chastisement from Him, and that it may give the believers who do good deeds the glad tidings that they shall have a good reward,

[18:4] Wherein they shall abide for ever;

[18:28] And recite what has been revealed to thee of the Book of thy Lord. There is none who can change His words, and thou wilt find no refuge beside Him.

[18:29] And keep thyself attached to those who call on their Lord, morning and evening, seeking His pleasure; and let not thy eyes pass beyond them, seeking the adornment of the life of the world; and obey not him whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance and who follows his evil inclinations, and his case exceeds all bounds.

[18:55] And, surely, We have explained in various ways in this Qur’an, for the good of mankind, all kinds of similitudes, but of all things man is most contentious.

[19:98] So We have made it (the Qur’an) easy in thy tongue that thou mayest give thereby good tidings to the righteous, and warn thereby a people given to contention.

[20:100] Thus do We relate to thee the tidings of what has happened before. And We have given thee from Us a Reminder.

[20:101] Whoso turns away from it will surely bear a heavy burden on the Day of Resurrection,

[20:102] Abiding thereunder; and evil will the burden be to them on the Day of Resurrection,

[20:114] And thus have We sent it down — the Qur’an in Arabic — and We have explained therein certain warnings, that they may fear God or that it may give birth to divine remembrance in them.

[20:115] Exalted then is Allah, the True King! And be not impatient for the Qur’an ere its revelation is completed unto thee, but only say, ‘O my Lord, increase me in knowledge.’

Qur’an-e-Kareem:

[32:3] The revelation of the Book — there is no doubt about it — is from the Lord of the worlds.

[32:4] Do they say, ‘He has forged it?’ Nay, it is the truth from thy Lord, that thou mayest warn a people to whom no Warner has come before thee, that haply they may follow guidance.

[35:32] And the Book which We have revealed to thee is the truth itself, fulfilling that which is before it. Surely, Allah is All-Aware, All-Seeing with respect to His servants.

[38:2] Sad. By the Qur’an, full of exhortation, it is Our revealed word.

[38:30] This is a Book which We have revealed to thee, full of blessings, that they may reflect over its verses, and that those gifted with understanding may take heed.

[39:2] The revelation of this Book is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.

[39:3] Surely it is We Who have revealed the Book to thee with truth; so worship Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience.

[39:28] And, indeed, We have set forth to men all kinds of parables in this Qur’an that they may take heed.

[40:3] The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Mighty, the All-Knowing,

Allah / Islam On Qur’an: Part-5

[41:3] This is a revelation from the Gracious, the Merciful.

[41:4] A Book, the verses of which have been expounded in detail — the Qur’an in clear, eloquent language — for a people who have knowledge,

[41:5] A bringer of glad tidings and a warner. But most of them turn away and they hear not.

[42:8] Thus have We revealed to thee the Qur’an in Arabic, that thou mayest warn the Mother of towns, and all around it; and that thou mayest warn them of the Day of Gathering whereof there is no doubt: A party will be in the Garden, and a party in the blazing Fire.

[42:53] And thus have We revealed to thee the Word by Our command. Thou didst not know what the Book was, nor what the faith. But We have made it (the revelation) a light, whereby We guide such of Our servants as We please. And truly, thou guidest mankind to the right path,

[42:54] The path of Allah, to Whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. Behold! to Allah do all things return.

[44:3] By this perspicuous Book.

[44:4] Truly, We revealed it in a blessed Night. Truly, We have ever been warning against evil.

[44:5] In it all wise things are decided,

[44:59] And We have made it (the Qur’an) easy in thy tongue that they may give heed.

[45:3] The revelation of this Book is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.

[45:13] Allah it is Who has subjected the sea to you that ships may sail thereon by His command, and that you may seek of His bounty, and that you may be grateful.

[45:14] And He has subjected to you whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth: all this is from Him. In that surely are Signs for a people who reflect.

[45:21] This Book contains clear evidences for mankind and is a guidance and a mercy for a people who possess firm faith.

[45:27] Say, ‘It is Allah Who gives you life, then causes you to die; then He will gather you together unto the Day of Resurrection about which there is no doubt. But most men know not.’

[46:3] The revelation of this Book is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.

[46:13] And before it there was the Book of Moses, a guide and a mercy; and this is a Book in the Arabic language fulfilling previous prophecies, that it may warn those who do wrong; and as glad tidings to those who do good.

[53:4] Nor does he speak out of his own desire.
[53:5] It is nothing but pure revelation that has been revealed by God.
[53:6] The Lord of mighty powers has taught him,

[54:33] And indeed We have made the Qur’an easy to understand and to remember. But is there anyone who would receive admonition?

[55:1] In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
[55:2] It is God, the Gracious
[55:3] Who has taught the Qur’an.

[55:4] He has created man.
[55:5] He has taught him plain speech.
[56:78] That this is indeed a noble Qur’an,

[56:79] In a well-preserved Book,
[56:80] Which none shall touch except those who are purified.
[56:81] It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.

[59:22] If We had sent down this Qur’an on a mountain, thou wouldst certainly have seen it humbled and rent asunder for fear of Allah. And these are similitudes that We set forth for mankind that they may reflect.

[72:2] Say, “It has been revealed to me that a company of the Jinn listened, and they said: ‘Truly we have heard a Qur’an that is wonderful,

[72:3] ‘It guides to the right way; so we have believed in it, and we will not associate any one with our Lord.

[85:22] Nay, but it is a glorious Qur’an,
[85:23] In a well guarded tablet.
[86:14] It is surely a decisive word,
[86:15] And it is not a useless talk.

[97:1] In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
[97:2] Surely, We sent it down on the Night of Destiny.
[97:3] And what should make thee know what the Night of Destiny is?
[97:4] The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months.

A Warning & Glad Tidings:

‘Proofs have indeed come to you from your Lord; so whoever sees, it is for his own good; and whoever becomes blind (ignores it, rejects it), it is to his own loss. And I am not a guardian over you.’ (Ch6:V105)

‘… And if thou couldst only see, when the wrongdoers are in the agonies of death…. …This day shall you be awarded the punishment of disgrace because of that which you spoke against God falsely and because you turned away from His Signs with disdain.’ (Ch6:V94)

‘O company of men! Did not Messengers come to you from among yourselves who related to you My Signs and who warned you of the meeting of this your day?’(Ch6:V131)

‘The messengers are sent because thy Lord would not destroy the towns unjustly while their people were unwarned.’ (Ch6:V132)

[17:16] He who follows the right way follows it only for the good of his own soul: and he who goes astray, goes astray only to his own loss. And no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another. We never punish until We have sent a Messenger.

[18:30] And say, ‘It is the truth from your Lord; wherefore let him who will, believe, and let him who will, disbelieve.’ Verily, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a fire whose flaming canopy shall enclose them. And if they cry for help, they will be helped with water like molten lead which will burn the faces. How dreadful the drink, and how evil is the Fire as a resting place!

QURAN ON DELIVERY OF THE HOLY MESSAGE (QURAN) TO THE WHOLE OF MANKIND

41:34. And who is better in speech than he who invites men to Allah and does righteous deeds and says, `I am, surely, of those who submit?’

16:126. Call unto the way of thy Lord with wisdom and goodly exhortation and argue with them in a way that is best. Surely, thy Lord knows best who has strayed from HIS way; and HE also knows those who are rightly guided.

16:129. Verily, ALLAH is with those who are righteous and those who do good.

Dear reader,

Assalamalaikum Warahmatullah-e-Wabarakatuhu (Peace be on you and the mercy and blessings of Allah)

‘… I do not say to you: ‘I possess the treasures of Allah, nor do I know the unseen; nor do I say to you: ‘I am an angel; I follow only that which is revealed to me….’ (Ch.6:V51)

‘… so whoever follows guidance, follows it for the good of his own soul; and as to him who goes astray, say, I’m am only a warner’. [27:93]

‘ … I am not a guardian over you.’ (Ch.6:V.67) ‘I am only a plain warner.’ (Ch. 26:V. 116)

‘… All praise belongs to Allah; He will soon show you His signs, and you will know them.’… [27:94]

May God help you my dear with His special help in understanding these divine concepts, Ameen

Our Motto is: ‘Love for all, Hatred for None’

P.S.: This work is done entirely for the pleasure of Allah, who says (in the Holy Qur’an, Aal-e-`Imran: 105), “And let there be among you a few who should invite (humanity) towards goodness.”

Introducing ‘Truth’ to the world: [3:61] This is the truth from thy Lord, so be thou not of those who doubt.

For those who are checking the verses of Quran from this message, please subtract 1 from all verse count stated, as I count ‘Bismillah’ occurring before the start of every Surah (Chapter) as the first aayat (verse) of every Surah so my number will be +1 to yours.

Reason being… God, in the prophecy of Deuteronomy 20:18-19, had said to Moses (pbuh) that: “I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

So it clearly meant that all whatever is recorded in the Quran are God’s words and not Mohammad (pbuh)’s! And so all the chapters in The Holy Quran start with ‘In the Name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful’ or ‘Bismillah-Hir-Rahman-Nir-Raheem’ except Surah 9 Al’Tauba (alone) which doesn’t start with it ONLY because is not a separate Surah in-itself but a part of Surah Al’Anfal.

Ahmadi Muslims believe that ‘Bismillah… Raheem’ is the first verse of each surah, and we believe (and this is true), that Bismillah was revealed with each Surah like other verses and so it is the start of each Surah, that is why we count Bismillah as verse number One while the other Muslim unfortunately don’t.

Spread light, spread this message and all details as much as you can and to as many as you ever can, in as many languages as you can, in all the ways you can… Because there are many out there who are on the wrong path. All of us have to turn to the almighty, the only one Lord of the worlds. And remember: The ink of scholar is more valuable than blood of martyr.

Even God says in the Qur’an-e-Kareem:

[9:122] …Why, then, does not a party from every section of them [believers] go forth that they may become well versed in religion, and that they may warn their people when they return to them, so that they may guard against evil?

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds

Say, “La ilaha il Allah, Muhammad-ur-Rasool-Allah” meaning “There is none worthy of worship but Allah, Muhammad [peace be upon him] is the messenger of Allah.”
