LAHORE: The Express Tribune Chief Reporter Rana Tanveer on Thursday received a threatening letter for covering minorities.
The one-page letter, bearing stamps of a Multan post office and Lahore Garden Town post office, bore threats and termed Tanveer “apostate” by accusing him of favouring minorities, especially Ahmadis and Christians.
The letter, which started with “Allah-o-Akbar” read; “Rana Tanveer enough is enough. Your favour to Ahmadis and Christians is increasing and now it is my firm belief that you are not a Muslim. You have turned to be an apostate by writing against Islam and in favour of ‘anti Islam’.”It added, “We know your purpose of doing such but now it is better for you to stop writing ‘against’ Islam and in favour of Qadianis and for correction of your belief seek your forgiveness from Allah. If you continue this practice, you will be killed as being an apostate you deserve death.”
The letter said that in defiance “you will be hit from where you cannot even imagine”. The writer wrote his name as ‘Mard-e-Mujahid’ at the end of the letter.

May Allah protect this bold reporter from these animals, Ameen. It is rare already that someone has the courage to report atrocities done in the holy name of Allah & His Messenger.
The prophet Muhammad s.a.w.s. , just before he passed away, was very much disturbed about one thing. He repeatedly spoke to nearby friends, saying: “I am afraid you will not do justice to non-Muslims i.e. minorities.”
That seemed to be his last advice. Any one can see how the so-called Muslim clergy has deviated from the real teachings of the prophet Muhammad s.a.w.s.
I can prove that such terrorists are Kafir from the believing group. i.e. They are the enemies of the real faith from the believers. (Chapter 3, verses 85 to 90).
That letter is a good example of local terrorism. It is clear terrorism and the government should immediately investigate the source of that letter. Tanveer sahib should present true copies of he letter to the high ups in police and rangers and home ministers (Punjab and Federal) and have confidence in the protection from Allah alone.
All Ahmadis and peace loving non-Ahmadis should pray to Allah for the safety of Tanveer Sahib.
May Allah protect Rana Tanveer from the followers of the “so called Muslim Molvies called by Muhammad,saw, as pigs and monkeys and the worst ulema under the canopy of heaven-sky” and their evil to defame the most beautiful,peaceful and tolerant ISLAM of Rehmatullah UL ALAMEEN who showed mercy and respect to ALL NON-MUSLIMS as Head of the State of Medina, amen. The present Pakistan govt. of so called Islamic Republic is doing absolutely nothing to curb the evil of extremism- in fact there is so much contradiction in their Words and Actions that creditability of Political and Religious leaders is incredible indeed! The dream of the founder of Pakistan( Qauid e Azam M. A. Jinnah is shattered to smithereens. when will the silent majority speak aloud to Save Pakistan of Mr Jinnah?

Every time i read the statements of these people who claim this blessed faith, Islam, what happened to them. Their anger seems to be so deeply planted into their spirits. what happened??? where are the fruits of love, peace and freedom from Islam. why do they claim Islam and claim to love the Holy Prophet(saw) more then anyone, and yet their behaviors are the opposite of his. who are the true ones who are disgracing his name. Each time i read about these mad people, i Thank Allah a thousand times that He has lead me to the Ahmadiyya Movement. Not other community is showing what its like to not be headless. Our Khalifa is that True Head of the Body of Believers, who’s objective is to bring peace and love to a world so in need of compassion. We has Ahmadies must continue to pray for our blinded brothers and sisters, that Allah will open up the minds and hearts to the truth. Islam is the answer to all of humankind’s problems. sadly, the muslims have the cure The Holy Quran, but if they don’t take the dosage the disease kills their hearts and they themselves are the disease carriers.
