MEMBERTOU — The life of the Prophet Muhammad will be the theme of an information session on June 14, at the Membertou Trade and Convention Centre.
The event, called Muhammad: The Astonishing Story of the Prophet, begins at 6:15 p.m. and is hosted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat in Sydney. Supper will be served.
“The purpose of the event is to provide a kind of basic information on the life of the Prophet Muhammad,” said information session on life of , one of the organizers of the event. “There will be two small poems and there will be a couple of children presenting little short stories, about a minute or two, but it’s mostly video presentations.”
People will be able to comment on the videos presentations afterwards, he said, adding that people of all faiths and backgrounds are encouraged to attend. A recent American-made movie that showed the Prophet Muhammad in an unflattering light and led to considerable unrest among Muslims worldwide will also be a topic.
“People have some misinformation about the life of the prophet, so we want to share with people how he responded in his lifetime to different things that happened to him.

I was very fortunate to attend this wonderful video presentation, two short live presentation were excellent particularly by Zeeshan Asim, there were over 200 guest presnt including Deputy Mayor, Police Chief and Member of Parliament.
There was pin drop silence throughout the presentation not a single ringing cell phone (without the organizers requesting it).
Sydney branch of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at is to be congratulated for a wonderful job, may Allah SWT Bless them and enable them to continue on this path of presenting Peaceful message of Islam.
