As the celebrations of Platinum Jubilee started all over the world many programs were planed Zonally, one of which being collecting old clothes from the members of Jamaath and then distributing them among the needed one.

The Department of Khidmath-e-Khalq, Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya Shimoga (SouthZone) Karnataka under the instructions from Zonal Sec-Khidmath-e-Khalq and Zonal Qaid Saheb initiated a program to distribute Old Good Clothes to the poor and needed one in the society, the preparations started with the hard work of self inspired volunteers of Jamaath and started to collect the old clothes which were in good condition from the members of jamaat.

The collection of clothes took one week and then with the help of Lajna ammalliah, Khuddams and Atfal the clothes were re-conditioned at the Mission House and were neatly packed. Total 12 Cartons (584 Pairs) were collected.

With the instructions and meeting with the Majlis Aamila, Qaid Majlis and Sec-Khidmath-e –khalq along with Naib Qaid decided to distribute one part of the collected clothes to Happy Home for Handicaps an N.G.O who take care of disabled children in the city.

On 22nd Febuary a team of voulenteers along with Qaid Majlis,Naib Qaid, Zaim Ansarullah, Sadar Lajna and few lajna, Distributed the clothes after Namaz Mogrib.

Mr Roshan the All India Director (Happy Home) a N.G.O said “ I am delighted with the works of Humanity First and Jamaath taking social responsibility and appreciated the fact that jamaat is indulged with great humanitarian works and extended his gratitude towards Humanity First and Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat”

Janab Molvi Tariq Ahmed Idris Murabbi Silsila addressed the children and staff of N.G.O and explained the works of Humanity First and Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaath Globally in Kannada (Local Language)and also explained the role of Jamaat rendering its services to society and social responsibility.

Janab Abdur Rashid SohailZaim Ansarullah also addressed to the attendeesat the program, the emotional and heart touching experience was to distribute the Clothes to the Children who were specially abled since the childrens were exited and were in full of joy to accept the clothes said the members of jamaath who attended the event.

Alhamdolilliah it was a heart touching and successful event organized by the Jamaath on eve of Platinum Jubilee of Khuddam Ul Ahmadiyyawhich was well appreciated by all. May Allah Almighty Bless all who made this even success and inspire all of us to keep good work.
