MAFRAQ – The Jordanian-UAE field hospital in Mafraq has treated more than 27,000 people since its establishment last year.
Hospital Director Khaled Saadi said most of the patients were Syrian refugees, noting that around 400 people visit the facility each day.
Mefleh Katbi, a physician at the hospital, said around three to four Syrian women deliver at the medical centre each week, adding that a third of the hospital’s budget is allocated for psychological, rehabilitation and medical treatment of children.
