Kerala, India: ‘Divya Smrithi’ – A Public Meeting on World Religious Figures was conducted as part of Kozhikode Zonal Conference 2012 in Kerala, India on Saturday the 3rd of November.

By the grace of God, the event was a grand success.

It highlighted the noble characters of world religious leaders: Prophet Muhammad (saw), Prophet Shree Krishna (as), Hadhrat Shree Ram (as), Prophet Jesus (as), Guru Baba Nanak and the Promised Messiah of all religions, Hadhrath Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) of Qadian.

The inauguration was done by Moulana Sultan Ahmad Zafar Sahab, who had traveled from Qadian, Punjab and the Chairman for the event was K.M Ahmad Koya, Zonal Ameer of Calicut.

Speakers and their topics were as follows:
1. Moulavi Muhammad Salim Sahab, circle incharge Kozhikode zone spoke on Prophet Muhammad (saw)
2. Senior Journalist Janab Abdu Rahman Sahab on Hadhrath Sri Krishna (as)
Editor of Sathyadoothan Mr. A.M Muhammad Salim spoke on Prophet Jesus (as)
3. Professor Mahmood Ahmad, the Chairman Folklore Academy cum Chairman, Islam International publications, Kerala spoke on Hadhrat Sri Ram (as)
4. Moulvi Muhammad Ismail sahab, Muballigh, Payangadi, Kerala spoke on Guru Baba Nanak, and
5. Moulvi Nasir Ahmad sahab, Muballigue, Ernakulam, Kerala spoke on Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as)

All topics were well researched and well presented.

As the venue of the meeting, the Ahmadiyya Masjid ‘Bait-ul-Quddoos’, was located in the heart of the city, it attracted a big audience: More than 1200 attended which included many Non-Ahmadi Muslims.

Prominent Newspapers including the local Hindu ones appreciated the efforts of the community to encourage mutual understanding and maintaining peace & harmony in society.
