Philippine News:
Election fever is on, in both the United States and in the Philippines.
In the Philippines, the filing of certificate of candidacies for candidates in the Senate, Lower House, and local government units has started. The election campaign in the United States for the presidency, the Senate, and the Lower House has also heated-up. With the election barely a month away, the campaign swing has moved towards the final stretch.
In the U.S., the lines are pretty much drawn between the Obama-Biden ticket of the Democratic Party and the Romney-Ryan ticket of the Republican Party. Both tickets represent differing views on a wide-range of issues, both domestic and overseas— from immigration reform, foreign wars, to the issue of economic recovery and growth.
