Denigration towards Islam and its sacred symbols surprisingly has positive impact for Muslim. Really? Yes, indeed. Such act brings more awareness and love of Muslim towards the Prophet Muhammad. The Chairman of Rabithah Alawiyah Indonesia, Abdullah As-Saggaf, said the moment should have become “A day of love for the God’s messenger”.
Hundreds of Afghans protested against a U.S.-made film that insulted the Prophet Mohammad PBUH.
He said that the value Prophet Muhammad would be higher if Muslim could imitate the beautiful moral of Rasulullah PBUH when he was mocked and insulted. “Thus, do not hold anarchic demonstration,” he said.
When Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was mocked, he never replied. Instead, he forgave them. As-Saggaf said that Islam came by grace not only for Muslim, but also for all people.
