ZARQA — A team of archaeologists from a Romanian university have uncovered the ruins of an ancient city dating back to the early Bronze Age in the Masoum neighbourhood of Zarqa.

Head of the Zarqa Antiquities Department Romel Gharib said the 80-dunum city contains a number of houses, tools, pottery jars and copper axes.
