  1. We live in a narcissistic world where political leaders, generally, are hungry for phony glory and desperate for meaningless attention. Serving people is not on top of the agenda. Such problem is more pronounced in Pakistan and the worse part is that Pakistani media is not helping. To be considered a truly democratic force, Pakistani media must cover the news of rising poverty, oppression of minorities and women, lack of electricity, rising fanaticism and sham educational system as opposed to endlessly analyzing political circus in Pakistan. The politicians position themselves as defenders of constitution which unfortunately has become nothing but a piece of paper.
