Since plastic carry bags are an integral part of lifestyle and its use in packaging industry being 37 percent. Its disposal has been one of the problems for Bhubaneswar and Puri municipalities so far. The initiative to destroy used plastic bags after their use, at high temperature and possible use in energy sector was suggested by the concerned Secretary.
