Alhamdolillah, the conference was held as per programme. It started with the recitation of Holy Qur’an by Mr. Mansoor Masud Ahmad at 17.00 at Nordic House, Reykjavik. Mr. Willium Bilal Atkinson delivered his speech on Religious Tolerance in Islam. He gave different examples from the life of Hazrat Mohammad S.A.W. and proved that the atmosphere created under his leadership in Madina was an exemplary one. He quoted different events and the excellent behaviour of Hazrat Mohammad S.A.W.

The other two speakers; one from Roman Catholic Church and the other from Ethical Humanist Organisation spoke and offered their views on Religious Tolerance. Speaker from the Roman Catholic Church emphasized the need of separating Religion from the state while speaker from Ethical Humanist group demanded exclusion of teaching religions in the schools. After speeches, the audience were given time for asking questions from the speakers which were availed by them and some good questions were asked from all the three speakers.

The general impression of the audience was very encouraging and they liked  holding of such programmes in future too.
