ENDICOTT USA– George E. Clarke, 35, of Fillmore Avenue, Endicott, was arrested Sunday and charged with torturing and injuring an animal, a misdemeanor under the state Agriculture and Market Law.
Endicott police said the arrest was the result of an incident Aug. 10 at Clarke’s residence where he reportedly struck a male pit-bull approximately 10-15 times with a 2X4 piece of wood.
Clark also is charged with pulling the dog
by a lead attached to his collar over a fence without supporting the dog’s body.
