Two people were killed and one injured in the attack. Among the dead was Malik Khalid Javed, an Ahmadi who was present at the religious site when the attack happened and suffered a cardiac arrest. His body was taken to Chenab Nagar, where he was laid to rest. A number of people who went to the funeral have not returned to the village yet, and other families have left the village for their own safety.“There are three Ahmadi families living next to my house, but they left their homes and moved to safe places after the incident,” a villager told Dawn.“Their cattle are tied up in their homes. I arranged some fodder for their cattle today and gave them some water; the animals were tied up, hungry and thirsty since Monday,” he said. The villager added that many other members of the community have also left the village, and the few who have remained are guarded in their homes by police, Rangers and military personnel.A member of the local Ahmadi community also told Dawn some families have moved from the village, but the district police officer (DPO) and the district coordination officer (DCO) have said Ahmadis are staying in their homes.Army, police and Rangers personnel are still deployed in the village, where they can be seen patrolling.

Peace be on you.. The opposition and oppression to communities of Prophets is not new. To incite common people and to ignite flames of hatred, bizarre things are attributed to Prophets and their followers, and told to common people by corrupt clergies and connected leaders. Allah the Exalted has clearly mentioned in Holy Quran that each Prophet is opposed and mocked. Satan makes effort to hinder their work. Thus, Jama’at Ahmadiyya is not facing a new thing.
Allah the Exalted says in Holy Quran: [ch6:from v113] “And in like manner have We made for every Prophet an enemy, evil ones from among men and Jinn. They suggest one to another gilded speech in order to deceive ……..”
These words of Allah the Exalted are true today too.

Eman/beleif of a true and firm in Eman Ahmadi increases when they observe these oppositions……But there are very few such people too who say since oppression to Ahmadis has crossed the limits, now harshness should be answered with harshness, how long they shall bear difficulties…..Some of them try to poison minds of youth. They say that Jama’at should use worldly ways for demands and freedom.

Hazrat Khalifatul Messiah V (may Allah be his Helper) said these talks are due to ignorance and extremely wrong thoughts. Either these people have forgotten what is our basic teaching and what does Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) wants from us, what advice he gave to his Jama’at to bear these hardships and difficulties. Or these people with wrong thoughts want to create division in Jama’at by pretending as sympathizer. It could be one of the ploys used by opponents against the spreading Jama’at.

Allah the Exalted has made promise of Fatah / victory, Nusrat / support and progress with Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace). No answer to harshness with harshness but by paying attention to affection, love and prayers. He (a.s.) has repeatedly explained to us that progress of Jama’at and downfall of opponent will be achieved by prayers. That is why, bow before Allah the Exalted by making your conditions according to teaching of Deen / religion and by producing Taqwa / righteousness in self.

The Promised Messiah (a.s.) was to come as prince of peace and came as so. He informed his followers from day one that his paths are not easy, these have many difficulties, here emotions will have to be suppressed, loss of life and wealth will have to be borne. By the grace of Allah the Exalted, members of Jama’at are offering all kinds of sacrifice in this path. They write to Hazrat Khalifatul Messiah V (may Allah be Helper) that they are not afraid of attack by opponents, their Eman are getting stronger than before.
But if one or two people say something which is against the teaching of Jama’at that is equal to creating mischief and is like to give opportunity to opponents for more opposition against us, especially when such things are said at Whatsapp, Twitter, Facebook or by any other way.

We have been practicing the teaching not to practice oppression and barbarism in response to that by opponents. We shall not fight against governments with weapons. We contend by using the arms of prayers. Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) has taught us if we have to get help and love of Allah the Exalted, we shall not response to opponent’s attacks and excesses like it, but we have to use patience and prayer. Only then, we shall see successes. Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) says: (Farsi)“ azizan bekhluso sidq nakushayand rahera musaffa qatraey bayed keh ta gohar shawad payda …….i.e. O dears, the station is not obtained without sincerity and truth. Be clean and pure droplet, it is, from which, pearl is made. O my friends! who are in my Movement of Bai’at, may God enable us and you to do those things, with which, He is pleased. Today you are few and are seen scornfully and time of trial is on you, according to very way of Allah which continues since ancient. Effort will be made from every side that you get tripped and you will be troubled by all methods and you will have to hear various ill-talks. And everyone who will cause infliction to you by tongue or hand will think he is supporting Islam.” “And some heavenly trials will come to you so that you are examined by all ways. So you listen now that it is not the path of your victory and dominance that you exercise your dry logic or mock against mockery or call name against name calling because if you use these paths, your hearts will become hard, and you will have only verbosity, with which God the Exalted hates and views it with sight of disgust. So you do not do that (you) gather two curses at you; one of Creation and second of God.”

Hazrat Khalifatul Messiah V (a.t.) said to Community that We have to practice this teaching and guidance given to us by Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.). We shall neither reply name calling with name calling, nor reply discord by creating discord by breaking law. It is often seen in countries (which call themselves Islamic) that even if we lawfully do our defense, the law stands with oppressor. Bail of oppressed Ahmadis is not granted, courts are helpless before corrupt clergies; they sent message to court, if bail is granted then you’ll see what will happen to you! Then due to fear, many judges give next hearing date, and do not make decision. Thus, neither law enforcing institutions are ready to help us nor the law is ready to grant us justice.

To make discord in country in not our teaching. Thus, there is only way that hold the door of Allah the Exalted and offer prayers to maximum……Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) says: “In the time, between prayer and era of its acceptance, too often, trials upon trials come. And such trials come too which break the back. But a steadfast and good-natured person smells perfume of grants of his Lord during these trials and difficulties. And sees with the sight of wisdom that Nusrat comes after this. In coming of these trials, a secret is this too, that excitement for prayer increases. Because as much as iztirar (pressing necessity) and iztirab t(emotional agitation) will increase, by that much gudazish (softness, melting) will continue to happen in soul. And these are among the means of acceptance of prayer.”
