German leader stops short of calling for a ban on full Muslim face veil but says a balance must be found.

The German Chancellor Angela Merkel has come out against the burqa as fierce debate rages in the country over whether to ban the full Muslim face veil. Speaking on the Radio Station Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland, the German leader said she believed the burqa was a barrier to Muslims, and Muslim women in particular, becoming integrated into German society.
“From my point of view, a completely covered woman has almost no chance of integrating herself in Germany,” Merkel told the station.
However, the chancellor stopped short of calling for a ban on the conservative Islamic clothing, thelocal.de reported. Giving her full backing to Interior Thomas de Maizière, Merkel said: “This is a question of finding the right political and legal balance and Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière has my full support in finding a solution.”
De Maizière had recently rejected a general ban on the burqa, over constitutional concerns but a partial ban is likely to be introduced.
The chief of German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s CDU party described the burqa as “contrary to integration”, and said regional leaders would meet to discuss restrictions on Muslim women wearing veils.
Debate over the clothing was sparked in Germany following a unprecedented surge in so-called “lone wolf attacks” across the country that were later claimed by the Islamic State.
Elsewhere in Europe, leaders are also discussing banning conservative Muslim clothing and the burkini – a full body swimming costume – has been banned in six French beach resorts. French Prime Minister Manuel Valls has defended the towns which have banned the burkini, describing wearing the full body swimsuit as “not compatible with the values of France and the Republic”.
Italy has ruled out following in the footsteps of France, saying it will not ban the burkini, or the burqa, because such a step could provoke a blacklash in the Muslim community and provoke a terror attack.

My suggestion to Muslim Ahmadiyyah is that it will be wiser if Muslim Ahmadiyah ask women do not need to wear Hijab in public place, before Government ban it.

The result of practicing the ancient Islamic laws, women have to cover their entire body with a cloth, and whole body of women are genitalia or “aurat”, except 2 hole of eyes—-women are forbidden to go outside without accompanied by her brother or husband—-women are forbidden to drive a car—-women have to circumcised—girls are forbidden to get good education like boy,—-women are forbidden to shake hand with a man—women are forbidden to sit side by side with a man—women are forbidden to work at office with men—women are forbidden to be a leader or imam at mosque—women are forbidden to sing a song at public or on TV—-women will get inheritance half than man—-women are forbidden to marry a christian—-males are encouraged to have long beard—-males have wife more than one (polygamous )–and many slaves—-males are forbidden to wear the gold-ring—Muslims are forbidden to have a pet-dog—-Muslim are forbidden to marry a christian woman.—Muslims are forbidden to eat meat that slaughtered by Christian—-Muslim are forbidden to say “ Merry Christmas to friends—-Christian are forbidden to enter the city of Mecca—Christian are forbidden to be a leader—-Christian have to pay Jitza (extra tax)—Bible are accused the false book—-International bank ( non Muslim ) are forbidden because of usury-
The ancient Arab tradition, women are as second class in Arab society still be upheld by Arab people from one generation to the next generation. They feel proud of their tradition.
Those who does not follow the ancient Arab tradition, are accused infidel, or insulted his tradition.
If women still follow the ancient Islamic laws, I strongly believe that women can not make great progress and produce super works of science, culture, art and aesthetics, as well as Islam in the best way, and thus represent to the world in 21st Century.
Islamic ancient laws or tradition have to be reformed now ! Otherwise, Islamophobia will be grown faster then we thought.
The victim will be bearded men and hijabi women for sure as we see now.

There is no such thing as “ancient” islamic law. Muslims consider islamic law to be applicable for all ages and times because it is considered to be the complete, final and perfect teaching by God for men. And please correct some of your facts. For example no where does it say that women are not allowed do drive….this law is a cultural thing falsely imposed in the name of Islam. Shaking hands with the opposite gender is not only discouraged for women, but also for men. Women should and must have a good education….again a false allegation on Islam. When it comes to inheritance, women are better off then men, because though they get half the inheritance compared to men, they get to keep all of it for themselves and their men have no right to claim it…whereas men MUST spent and share the inheritance with their family or the ppl who financially depend on them. And don’t forget that if a woman works, her husband has no right to ask for her salery, because it is the husband’s responsibility to finacially support the family.
I think ur intentions are right and u are asking for moderation, but believe me Islam itself is very “modern” and it’s laws are definetly not ancient. 🙂
If you are supporting the ancient Islamic law as above, you are supporting terrorist who are implementing the ancient Islamic laws. Terrorist Muslim implement exactly ancient Islamic laws.

When I read “ancient Islamic law” it makes me realize that 1. This person does not know Islamic Law
2. He or she cannot distinguish between culture and Islamic law
3. But no blame to him because the “Modern Islamic law” is so corrupted and distorted people think this was what the original teaches were.
