Most U.S. Catholics rely heavily on their own conscience for moral guidance

Despite Pope Francis’ overwhelming popularity, only about one-in-ten American Catholics say they turn to the pope “a great deal” for guidance on difficult moral questions, according to a Pew Research Center survey on religion in everyday life.
Rather, most Catholics say they look inward for guidance in their lives. Roughly three-quarters of U.S. Catholics (73%) say they rely “a great deal” on their own conscience when facing difficult moral problems, compared with 21% who look to the Catholic Church’s teachings, 15% who turn to the Bible and 11% who say they rely a great deal on the pope.
Perhaps not surprisingly, Catholics who are highly religious (defined in our survey as those who say they pray daily and attend religious services at least once a week) are considerably more likely than other Catholics to seek guidance from church teachings, the Bible and the pope. Still, no more than half of highly religious Catholics give great weight to any of these sources of guidance, while 74% say they rely a great deal on their conscience.
Relying on one’s own conscience doesn’t necessarily indicate a conflict with church teachings. In fact, the Catechism of the Catholic Church emphasizes that “a well-formed conscience is upright and truthful” and that “[t]he education of the conscience is a lifelong task.” According to the Catechism, the “Word of God” (i.e., the Bible) and the “authoritative teaching of the Church” should guide the formation and education of the conscience. And Pope Francis’ recent proclamation, “Amoris Laetitia,” makes several references to the importance of Catholics’ individual consciences in issues related to family life.

The book of Hadith is not the word of Allah but men’s word. It was compiled around 200 years after Prophet Muhammad (saw) died. So Prophet Muhammad (saw) never saw the book of Hadith. If there is 1 false Hadith, Muslim will go astray. Those who follow the book of Hadith blindly will fall into sinful Syrik. Extremist Muslim use the book of Hadith to justify to kill innocent people like blasphemer, apostate, Heresy, gay-lesbian, infidel etc. whereas Allah condemned to kill innocent people. QS 5;32
So the book of Hadith create violence, conflict, poverty, millions innocent people around the world have been suffering, displacing and killed by Muslim’s hands. Nauzubillah, I am so sad,pity heartbreaking . The book of Hadith is the root of violence in Islam today.
The brief history of Hadiths
The Sunnah which was the practice of the prophet (saw) started from the very first day and many watched and copied it from very first day. There were no books of Hadith in those days and everything (salaat, zakaat, fasting, hajj) was being done very well without any recourse to any Hadith that was due to the Sunnah and it is continued till this day in the Ummah without any break, generation to generation.
The book of Hadith Muslim and Bukhari contains of
(1) the true Hadith
(2) the false Hadith
(3) and ancient Arab tradition Hadith
Those who follow the false or violent Hadith will go astray and kill innocent people.
Those who follow thousands of the ancient Arab Tradition Hadith will go back to primitive lifestyle, “Stone Ages.”
So, as long as false Hadith (violent Hadith) do not be removed from the Book of Hadith, Extremist Muslim and terrorist will continue to kill innocent people such as; Apostates, Blaspheme, Gay-Lesbian and Muslim Infidel under the name of Islam.
We can not claim that Islam is religion of peace or Mercy, if we do not remove the violent Hadith from the book of Hadith.

Christian religion has matured over time. They now understand the true nature of religious leadership. Islam is still passing through the stages of maturation.
Allah says in the Holy Quran that we should not follow our religious leaders but follow the Book. Islam is in the Holy Quran. But Muslims are ignorant. They worship their religious leaders and ignore the instructions of God.
Hadith is a narration by someone two hundred years after the fact. Now try relaying a message verbally through three people without writing it down and you will come to realize the problem with hadith. It is humanly not possible to relay a message accurately over generations without writing it down. Inaccuracies and the personal view of the narrator always comes in. So hadith cannot be the basis of any Islamic teaching. The teaching has to be found in the Holy Quran. Any evidence in support of that teaching will be acceptable such as science, observation, and even hadith.

BECAUSE OF Most Muslims around the world have been brainwashed Centuries by ancient imam Muslim_Bukhari–Hurrairah etc through the book of Hadith, and then continued by extremist Muslim to follow the book of Hadith. They accuse those who do not follow the sunnah ( the book of Hadith ) are kafir, infidel and should be punished.
Now we can see the result of practicing the book of Hadith violence, conflict among Muslim.
Most of Muslim scholars or clerics have been misleading people since centuries..millions Muslim Syia and Ahmadiyah have been suffering,displacing and died. Nauzubillah..
Good Muslim have to speak up and stand for reforming Islamic teaching from the ancient interpretation to the Modren Interpretation of Islam ( Al quran )
