Japan: Ahmadiyya Muslim Community starts relief activities after the Kumamoto Earthquake

Humanity first Japan is among those volunteer organizations which started relief activities soon after sever earthquakes rattled the Kyushu area on 14th and 15th April. We served meal to approximately 3000 to 4000 people so far

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Japan has started relief activities at the most effected area of Kumamoto Earthquake. Volunteers are serving milk, tea and other eatables to victims in a shelters at Mashikimachi.

In Mashikimachi thousands of people are living in shelters and suffering due to lack of food & water. After shocks are coming regularly so most of people are scared to go back their homes. Still thousands of people are living in evacuation centers.

Information: Ahmadiyya Muslim community is one of the oldest Muslim communities of Japan and has long history of serving Japanese citizens. They did notable works after the great Hansih earthquake in Kobe (1995), Chuets Nigata earthquake in Nigata and the great eastern Japan earthquake and tsunami (2011).
