An interfaith gathering will be taking place in The Japan Mosque to mark interfaith peace prayer service at the occasion of 5^th anniversary of Great Easteran Japan Earthquake.

The objective of the conference is to bring people of all faiths together and engage in a meaningful dialogue to infuse mutual understanding between their beliefs. Speakers from different faith groups will deliver their points of view on the topic “Religion is the Divine guidance for peace and harmony to unite humanity.”

The forum will also encourage the participants to ask questions to promote positive discussions.

Anees Ahmad Nadeem President & Imam Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Japan says , “The fundamental object of all the religions can be no different than guidance for the human beings to strive for attaining noble moral virtues, and thus promote harmonious communities. It is thus fascinating to learn from the study of the core of all faiths that they have much more in common in its applied objectivity, and there is absolutely no conflict in the moral values each of the group intends to promote.

Event organizers said, “The world today has become much more complex with religious and socio-economic priorities and consideration. More conflicts divide the world community because of the competitive environments. There is a dire need to unite mankind with the same strategy and techniques which were employed by Divine Messengers under His guidance.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Volunteers were the very first relief workers who reached at Tohoku and carried on their humanitarian activities until September 2011 at Ishinomaki City Minato Primary School.
