Beauty and the beast

Women are inferior to men and husbands have every right to beat disobedient wives. Wani (exchange marriage) can be overlooked and fixing a minimum age of marriage for girls is un-Islamic. Obscenity is all due to women and acid throwing can be neglected. Violence against women enjoys divine sanction and perhaps there is nothing wrong with honor killing.
And if somebody commits any of the crimes described above, the society should remain silent and do not talk about such heinous acts let alone highlight these on media.
The above are the thoughts and mindset of several mullahs, one of which you can see in the picture below on the right. His name is Mufti Naeem.

More than a 1000 women are killed in the name of ‘honor’ in Pakistan every year. The film “A Girl in the River: The price of forgiveness (2015)” follows the story of a rare survivor who falls in love and lives to tell the tale. Stanford educated Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy has produced this film.     More
