The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada will be celebrating Eid, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan on July 18, 2015. All 88 chapters of the Ahmadiyya Muslims Jama`at Canada, spanning from Newfoundland to British Columbia will hold special Eid prayers for Canada.
Eid-ul-Fitr(festival of breaking the fast) is celebrated by more than a billion Muslims around the world, marking the end of Ramadan. Muslims celebrate the day with prayers, wearing festive outfits, exchanging gifts and enjoying special meals.
Ahmadi Muslims will be hosting dozens of Eid festivities across various cities, towns and communities in Canada, starting at 10 a.m. on July 18, at these locations:
