I commented on Arabnews: I hope that the one Islamic organization that has been active in promoting peace will take part in this conference: http://www.alislam.org/peaceprize/
(not sure yet if it will be published)
I strongly believe that the main key to achieve a permanent peace in Muslim countries if King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia and all Gulf States TREAT the religious minorities fairly and without discriminating on the basis of beliefs, race, and gender.
The act of justice for all His people is core of Islamic teaching.
If King Abdullah and Gulf states follow Prophet Muhammad (saw) as a role model how to govern diversity of beliefs, will achieve the permanent peace successfully.
But if King Abdullah and Gulf states still treat the religious Minority such as 2 million Muslim Shia, Christian, Jews, atheist etc unfairly, there is no peace in Muslim Countries.
All sect Muslim can live in peace when they live in non Muslim countries. Non Muslim countries protect the right of religious minority.
Let us pray to God,may God will guide all Arab’s leader to the truth of Islam now.Ameen
All love
