The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Malta organised annual “Peace Symposium” on 28thFebruary, at the Grand Hotel Excelsior, Floriana. In this gathering Hon. Justyne Caruana MP, Hon. Mario De Marco MP, Mons Mario Grech and Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad Ayaz, delivered their talks about the theme “Contemporary World Crisis and the Way to Peace.”

All the distinguished speakers spoke about the current critical situation of world peace and highlighted the need of establishing justice, equality, and education and emphasized on the need of mutual respect and dialogue between all the countries, people and religions. The distinguished panel agreed to the point that dialogue and negotiations are the best solutions in solving national and international conflicts.

Honourable Dr Justyne Caruana said that for the establishment of peace there is a critical need to eradicate poverty and to provide food and clean water to all the people. She also emphasized on promotion of tolerance and mutual respect.

Honourable Dr. Mario De Marco said that ‘I welcomed with open arms the invitation to address this gathering. We can never talk enough about peace. But, no word uttered in the pursuit of peaceful solution is a wasted word.’
