Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat to hold its annual retreat in Lokoja, Kogi State

Photo: Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma (The President of the Republic of Sierra Leone) awarded the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at with “Presidential Medal Award (Gold)” On 27th April 2013 in recognition of its long and outstanding contributions to the nation in the fields of education, health, agriculture and humanitarian activities.

The executive committee of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Nigeria will hold its annual retreat in Lokoja, Kogi State. This is coming on the heels of the annual conference of the Islamic organisation slated for Ilaro in December.

The retreat will afford the leadership of the Jamaat to strategise for the challenges ahead of the organization, as it is set to mark her 100 years in Nigeria in 2016.

The high point of this year’s brain-storming session is the public presentation of a book on the memorization of the Holy Quran, merits and methods, authored by a trained missionary from the Jamia Ahmadiyya College, Ilaro.
