PESHAWAR: The death toll from a double suicide bombing on a church in Peshawar, in Pakistan, rose to 81 Monday, as Christians protested across the country to demand better protection for their community.
The attack on All Saints church in the provincial capital of northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after a service on Sunday is believed to be the deadliest ever to target the country’s small Christian minority.
Doctor Arshad Javed of the city’s main Lady Reading hospital told AFP the death toll had risen to 81 overnight, including 37 women. A total of 131 people were wounded.
Meanwhile, a four-member committee which was formed to collect evidence from eye-witnesses has already started visiting the families of the victims.
Reports said two suicide bombers carrying hand-grenades and pistols entered the church and targeted the worshippers. Their ages were reported to be between 20 to 22.
Christians demonstrated in cities around Pakistan to protest against the violence and demand better protection from the authorities.
My heart goes out in sympathy for the innocent Christians and their families. May Allah reward them for their good deeds and bless them peace!
May Allah punish the prepretators and all concerned with his full vengeance!
The Muslims are instructed by the ordinance of the teaching of the Holy Quran, “there is no compulsion in matters of faith”, we are instructed to protect the rights of the followers of all faiths to beleive whatever they want and Muslims are instructed to defend that right with their lives! and to protect the followers of others faith and places of worship. What a culmny!, that opposite is happening.
These wild animals who perpetrate these crimes in the name of religion should be hunted down like animals and the full force of justice should be dispensed upon them ALL!

Um actually… no i don’t Rafiq. I witness every day Islam’s contribution to the world. I have served oversees for my country and have witnessed first hand exactly how twisted your religious ideology is. I was in Bali when your religion of peace killed so many innocent people. I have witnessed with my own eyes how Muslims treat not just the Christians and the Jews, but also their own kind. The repulsion that Muslims have for ‘non-believers’ and when their spread their cancer in western countries – England, Denmark, Sweden etc etc just look how ‘positive’ their contribution is to those places! Just google the statistics of the number of Muslims in prison in Denmark for rape or assault.. and the rest are unemployed and leaching of the social welfare system!! I am an educated person Rafiz, with an educated opinion. I have degrees in Education, Law and Business. So tell me Rafiz – what’s the body count up to this week..?

Strangely enough, there is something common among the terrorists and Islamophobes, when they look at the Holy Quran, they see a message of terror and violence.

When we, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, look at the Holy Quran, we see a message of compassion, love and universal brotherhood.
We find infinite value of each and every human being, which cannot be traded for ones political, financial or other gains. As the Holy Quran says that killing of one person is equal to a holocaust or a genocide:

Often the Islamomaniacs and the Islamophobes misunderstand some of the verses in Sura Taubah. Read some of the other verses from the same Sura to appreciate the context:
In the same Sura Taubah, Allah lays the blame squarely on the non-believers, for starting the war:
So, the permission to fight is only for self defense.
The so called sword verse, Al Quran 9:5, which is often quoted by Islamomaniacs and Islamophobes does not seem to have any application in present day social, religious and political context, when all the Muslim countries and the Muslims living in the West, through their respective countries are signatory of Universal Declaration of the Human Rights.
As long as the non-Muslims are abiding by such treaties the Muslims are duty bound to abide by the treaties. So, only risks to peace and law and order, in our global village, are extra-judicial killing and unilateral strikes on countries like Syria, without license from the United Nations general assembly.
Killing of these innocent killings is simply terrorism and killing of innocent people in peace time for some mis-perceived political gain. May Allah punish these villains in this very world, who not only are ruthless killers but also are guilty of maligning the peaceful name of Islam and perpetuating disorder in the world. (Ameen)

All religions belong to Allah , were are NOT allowed to kill any living creature. Killing innocent people is the most heinous crime in Islam
People who do things like this, they have no religion.
Every religion teaches about peace and sympathy, above all Islam.

The Holy Quran says:
That bombing of Church in Peshawar was very bad deed. We Ahmadi Muslims have expressed our grief over that incident. Non-Muslims should blame the present day Muslims and not to blame Islam.
Please note:
1. Followers of most religions, Hindu, Christian and Muslims have gone astray. They are not following the true original teachings of their actual faith. The Jews of old times are well known to have done that. Even the Budhists have proved to forget their peaceful teachings. Christians are definitely not on the path of Jesus Christ (a.s.) Same is the case for the present day Muslims.
2. The word “sword” i.e. Saif is not to be found in the Quran. There is no “Sword” in the Quran. Any one can search the whole Quran, will not find the word “Sword”. But sword is mentioned in the holy BibleNT a few times. Even it was used to cut the ear of some one when Jesus a.s. was being arrested.
3. Jesus a.s. had original plans to buy swords even by selling the clothing. There was nothing wrong with that. We Ahmadi Muslims do not blame that.
4. Please note that those who are killing innocent people in the name of God are mentioned as kaafir in the Quran. They are the enemies of all faiths. They are destined to burn in HELL for a very long time.
