Critics claim that “the crux of Islam is an ideology of global war” and that Prophet Muhammad allegedly supported this global war through terrorism and Jihad. [1]
The Qur’an has used the word Jihad 34 times to express the idea of struggling to the utmost to refine oneself [2], improve society [3], or defend the freedom of conscience [4]. Accordingly, Prophet Muhammad has, for example, used the word Jihad when referring to serving one’s parents [5], refining one’s character [6], performing the Hajj (pilgrimage) [7], and defensive war for freedom of conscience [8]. Prophet Muhammad also, after returning from battle, declared the Jihad of refining oneself to be superior to Jihad to defend the freedom of conscience, “We are returning from the lesser Jihad to the greater Jihad.” [9]
Furthermore, the Qur’an prohibits fighting against any peaceful group [10], repeatedly underscores the importance of freedom of conscience [11], and permits fighting only to uphold the freedom of conscience and defend oneself against an aggressor [12]. The Qur’an, as mentioned earlier, also states that no single religion can monopolize salvation [13] and endorses ecumenism. [14]
Instead of relying on the Qur’an and Ahadith (sayings of Prophet Muhammad), critics often cite Abul Ala Maududi, cleric and founder of Pakistan’s extreme right-wing religio-political party Jamaat-i-Islami. No doubt, influenced by the philosophy of medieval clerics, Maududi divided the world into two “Houses” and preached violence against non-Muslims and also against Muslims he disagrees with. But not only do Maududi’s views contradict the Holy Qur’an, Prophet Muhammad also and proactively condemned such clerics:
Their clerics will be the worst creatures under the heaven. Discord will rise from them and will come right back to them. [16]
In my Ummah (followers) an era of fear will come, and people will turn to their clerics for guidance, but will find them as monkeys and swine. [17]

TERROR!
Terror has been going on since WWII. To understand the American (Pentagon/Washington) Foreign Policy, suffice to digest “The Arrogance of Power” by J William Fulbright (1905-1995), a former Chairman of the U S Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. His book was published in 1966; he was bitterly critical of the Vietnam War. Now our Global Village is witnessing the on-going tragedies in the Middle East.
September 11, 1973 is also a very sad day to remember. Salvatore Allende, Chile’s democratically elected president was terrorised to his death by Pentagon/Washington, and replaced by the dictator, General Augusto Pinochet. His murderous army massacred well over 4,000 Chileans civilians that day.
In 1964, the entire population of Diego Garcia was terrorised and expelled from their idyllic island in the Indian Ocean, and dumped on the tiny of Mauritius. Those islanders were poor fishermen, black and Christians. Thus, Diego Garcia became an advanced American Military Base to patrolling the Middle East.

Muslims love to feint with their left hand while their right hand does all the harm. However much muslims may wax eloquent about Islam, the Quran and Mohammed’s “message” that “Jihad” was for “refining oneself” one cannot deny the fact that Islam lives and loves to take “revenge” for imagined and perpetrated “insults”.
It is these beliefs that fuel organizations such as Hamas, Iran, Al Qaida. LET, now ISIS and etc., etc., etc.,
They take these Quranic teachings seriously.
There can be no peace in the Middle East and elsewhere in the world made when such seeds of hatred are inbred within the text of the Quran and the Islamic world. 57 or so Islamic nations representing over 1 Billion inhabitants of this earth subscribe to this. They inculcate this hatred into their media (TV, Movies, Drama’s, Magazines, newspapers , newscasts , childrens books and cartoons) what chance is there to build a bridge with such intolerance and hatred.?
Muslims (on this site & others) quote the Quran “Your religion for you and my religion for me”
YET, how many Christians can freely practice their religion publicly in Mecca ?
NONE. It is illegal to do so on the penalty of death. Why is this ?
The answer to this can be found within the text of the Quran itself
Prophet Muhammad pbuh order or command Muslims to kill those who do not follow Islam or prophet ( the sunnah) as following verses.
So, when the sacred months expire, kill the Mushriks wherever you find them, and catch them and besiege them and sit in ambush for them everywhere. Q.9:5
Fight those People of the Book who do not believe in Allah, nor in the Last Day, 8 and do not take as unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have declared as unlawful, and do not profess the Faith of Truth; (fight them) until they pay jizyah with their own hands while they are subdued. Q. 9:29.
Sahih Muslim 33—”I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah”
Sahih Muslim 4366—“ I will expel the Jews and Christian from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim”
Prophet Muhammad command Muslim to punish and kill : Apostasy, Blasphemer, Homosexual, musrykun and infidel
I strongly urge Islamic Clerics Islamic authority to reform / abrogate these Verses that showing hatred and hostility toward Chistianity and Jews.
When a Muslim read the Allah’s commandment above wrintten in Al Quran he maybe become extremist Muslim and then terrorist.
Islamic authority needs to abrogate all VIOLENT verses and HADITH, otherwise we cannot defeat the extremist Muslim and terrorist.
