Follow the movement of the rotating pink dot in the picture below, and your eyes will only see the pink dots…

Seen? Beautiful pink dots, aren’t they?
Trick #1:
Change focus: Concentrate on the black “+” sign right in the center of the picture. What do you see now?
The moving pink dot appears Green!!!
Tricky, ain’t it? Yes.
Time for trick #2:
Now, concentrate hard on the black ” + ” in the center of the picture a little longer. After a short period, you see the green dot wiping away all pink dots! Only the single green dot now rotates the “+”
…break focus and all the dots are back! Howzzat?
It is amazing how our brain works! There’s really no green dot, and the pink ones don’t really disappear… It all depends on what you concentrate upon!
This should be proof enough to understand: We don’t always see what we think we see.
