Janab M.Basharath Ahmad Sahib, Ameer Jama’ath, Chennai along with the Executive Committee members met the Honourable Governor of Tamilnadu Mr.Rosaiyah at Governor Palace at Chennai on 7 th February 2013.
Janab Ameer Sahib has presented the Copy of the English translation of the Holy Quran, Life of Muhammad (saw), Islams Response to Contemporary Issues and Revelation Rationality Knowledge & Truth and briefed to the Governor about the contents of the books. Honorable Governor was very pleased with the Jama’ath Officials and has spent nearly 20 minutes with the Jama’ath officials.
Our Ameer Jama’ath has got the oppurtunity to brief about our Jama’ath to the Governor and also placed a Memorandum before him. The meeting was a rememberable one.

Really a pleasant and memorable posting along with photos of the happy occasion, showing the smiling Ameer Sahib, Chennai Jama’at along with his colleagues/executive members, all happily shown presenting the Holy book,Al-Quran and other Islamic literature to the Honorable Governor of Tamilnadu, Mr. Rosaiyah. The Governor was pleased to receive the Book gift and thanked the blessed representatives of the Chennai Ahmadiyya Community.
