AMMAN — Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem on Thursday condemned an attack on Jerusalem’s Monastery of the Cross by Jewish extremists, the third time in a few months.
“Hate crime practised by Jewish extremist groups against Christian sites do not terrorise us,” the patriarch said in a statement, noting that such actions are crimes against humanity.
Also on Thursday, the Arab forum for combating the emigration of Arab Christians condemned the vandalism.
