WHY WHAT IS GOOD FOR GEESE IS NOT GOOD FOR GANDER?

The members of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at are being tortured and mercilessly killed; their houses and mosques are damaged and looted, and their basic human rights, to practice and preach their faith, are being violated and denied in some Muslim countries. Recently, in Pakistan, minarets of a mosque were demolished with the help of police and local authorities.

It is utterly surprising that almost every Muslim organization in the West is completely silent on such un-Islamic and inhuman activities. Islam does not allow suppression of rights and activities of any religious group. Rather, it gives complete freedom to people of all religions to practice and preach their faith. Not only this but it also invites non-Muslims to have an open dialogue and bring forth their evidences.

Muslims living in the West enjoy full freedom of practice and preach their faith and whenever there is a slightest fear of breach of this freedom, like ban on hijab in France or ban on minarets in Switzerland, they vehemently protest against it by holding rallies and demonstrations demanding from the West unconditional and full liberty and freedom to practice and preach their faith (see this press release of CAIR CAN: http://www.caircan.ca/itn_more.php?id=3056_0_2_0_C). However, they ironically deny the same liberty and freedom to others in their own countries. They remain mute over the violation of human rights of people of different faiths or different interpretations of Islam than their own. No Muslim organization or individual has raised a voice of concern over the brutal killing of innocent Ahmadi Muslims and demolition and desecration of Ahmadiyya mosques in Pakistan and Indonesia. One is utterly perplexed that how can these Muslim organizations, groups and individuals demand rights and privileges for them while they do not grant it to ‘others’.
Can any Muslim member of any ‘Islamic Society’ working in the West or any Muslim activist of human rights answer this question and remove this amazement?
