Boy Scouts’ role in serving pilgrims commended

MAKKAH: Education Minister Prince Faisal bin Abdullah commended the services of scouts for pilgrims and visitors at the Grand Mosque during Ramadan.

He said the concept of scouts was inspired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah’s endeavors in the services of humanity.

Speaking to scouts and officials in Makkah, the minister said King Abdullah linked humanitarian and voluntary work with dialogue. He said people all over the world have welcomed the king’s initiative despite cultural and religious differences. READ MORE
