AMMAN – US students, university administrators and study-abroad programme providers say they are increasingly choosing the Kingdom as an Arabic-language study destination because of its reputation as a secure and hospitable destination.
In recent years, many study-abroad providers and universities have established Arabic study programmes in Jordan to meet the growing demand for Arabic language education among US students.
“Jordan is a safe and secure location for these types of programmes,” noted Aleta Wenger, executive director for International Programmes at Claremont McKenna College (CMC), which launched its summer programme in the Kingdom this year.
