BERLIN — A German regulator said Wednesday that he had asked Facebook, the social networking leader, to disable its new photo-tagging feature, which he warned could violate European privacy laws.
It is becoming more evident that the benefits of Facebook are hard to justify. Facebook can turn out to be a dangerous tool if it falls on the wrong hand. If Facebook is unable to address privacy issues it may became obsolete and irrelevant like Myspace.
