A MAN OF GOD with his followers: A spiritual gathering of ‘remembrance of Allah’ ended with prayers

On Sunday 26th June, in the afternoon, the spiritual gathering of thousands ended with a silent prayer lead by the Khalifa-tul-Massih V aba, the Spiritual Head of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat.

The annual convention of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Germany was started on Friday 24th June with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony and Friday Sermon by Hadhrat Khalifa-tul-Massih V aba. All three days were filled with Zikr-e-Ilahi (Remembrance of Allah). Speeches were delivered on different important topics, and especially by Hadhrat Khalifa-tul-Massih V aba. These three days were an unique opportunity for the spiritual reformation for the members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat as well as for the non-Ahmadi guests who attended the convention from many countries. Many delegations from different countries, including under-tabligh guests were present at the convention.

This was a blessed gathering, where everyone had an opportunity for Zikr-e-Ilahi, as commanded by the Almighty Allah: “And remember the name of thy Lord during the morning as well as the evening.” (76:26) And surely the remembrance of Allah is the best; the Holy Quran states: “Those who believe, and whose hearts find comfort in the remembrance of Allah. Aye! It is in the remembrance of Allah that hearts can find comfort.” [13.29]

Similarly there is a Hadith in which the Holy Prophet (peace be on him) says, when people gather together for the remembrance of Allah they are surrounded by angels and are covered by mercy from their Lord.

Indeed, it was a gathering where angels shower Allah’s Blessings on the attendees.

This annual conference was also a bear witness to one beautiful and very touching Hadith in which the Holy Prophet, peace be on him, says: “Your best leader is the one whom you love and who loves you, and whom you pray for and who prays for you.”

The world witnessed that there is only one leader, the one appointed by God as Khalifa, Hadhrat Khalifa-tul-Massih V aba, who loves his people and entire humanity the most, and his people love him even more than their own lives. Yes, he is the core attraction of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Community, and yes, he is the symbol of unity for the Jamaat. May the everlasting blessings and bounties of Allah be on him, may Allah strengthen his hands, may Allah accept all his prayers for us and for all humanity. Ameen

Let me share with you comments of a Catholic friend from Malta about Hadhoor, he said:

“Your Caliph is a great teacher; he presents a point and then explains it in such a beautiful and easy way, from different angles, so that everyone can understand it fully. He speaks as a father, as a missionary and as a spiritual leader, very humbly with the true spirit of Islam. He said all positive and nothing negative.”

Surely, it is the Khalifa of the time who can guide and lead the world towards God. And only God’s chosen people can guide truly and positively, and only they can lead us to the right path to find God and to His remembrance. Hadhrat Khalifa-tul-Massih II, delivered a speech about the remembrance of Allah, which is published and must be read.

  1. Here are views of a german guest with foreign backgrounds. She wrote me in her email.
“firstly thankyou for inviting me to the Jalsa. I was very impressed by the organisation and every thing else. I was very happy to be a part of It. And also realized how beautiful it also can be with so many people. The halls were filled with an atmosphare of love and kindness. This lovely atmosphare gave me a feeling of arriving my long missing home. I felt founding there something I was always searching for and never found it before.”

These are some impression of someone who was searhing a place where she can settle and where she can find her homely destination. She is a member of Foreigners’ Advisory Council and visited the Jalsa first time.

  2. A new convert with his christian wife from Poland also attended the Jalsa for the first time. Both were amazed and amused due to spiritual atmosphere. Mulaqat with Khalitul Masih (atba) charged them with new spiritual heights.
