The Honorable Lord Krishna: A Prophet Of Allah

Hindus worldwide will soon observe Krishna Janmashtami, a celebration of Lord Krishna’s birth. While many recognize the differences between Islam and Hinduism, few may appreciate that according to Islamic principles and Prophet Muhammad, Lord Krishna was a true Prophet of God.

The obvious question that emerges is that if the same God sent Lord Krishna and Prophet Muhammad, why do Islam and Hinduism have notable theological differences? Simply put, Islam only argues that the original core teachings of Hinduism and Islam are the same — the unity of God and the obligation to serve mankind. Furthermore, nothing in the Quran, Sunnah or Hadith declares that Lord Krishna was not a prophet. Thus, this short article offers nine points to consider — together — that Lord Krishna is a true prophet of God, a prophet whom Muslims also revere along with their fellow Hindu neighbors.

1. First, the Quran is the only ancient scripture that specifically mentions and praises other faiths. While the Quran mentions Jews and Christians specifically, in numerous places, likewise, it mentions Hindus in a group known as the Sabians. Sabians refer to non-Abrahamic traditions — Hindus, Buddhists, Zoroastrians, Taoists, etc. Thus, recognition of Hinduism exists in the Quran.

2. Islam teaches six Articles of Faith. The Fourth Article of Faith is the belief in all of God’s prophets. This simple Article of Faith provides further credence to recognizing Lord Krishna as a prophet sent to the Indian subcontinent.

3. The Quran is clear that God’s Divine guidance is not exclusive to any one people. Rather the Quran says that God sent “messengers to every people” (10:48) and “We raised among every people a messenger” (16:37). Prophet Muhammad further declared that God has sent no less than 124,000 prophets to mankind throughout history (Ibn Hanbal, Musnad, 5, 169) of which only 28 are mentioned in the Quran. None of those 28 prophets are mentioned as being sent to the Indian subcontinent. Thus, it is perfectly reasonable that Lord Krishna is one of the many prophets God sent with His Divine message.

4. Segueing from the previous point, the Quran clearly declares, “And We sent some Messengers whom We have already mentioned to thee and some Messengers whom We have not mentioned to thee…” (4:165). Thus, to declare that Lord Krishna is not a prophet simply because the Quran does not mention him is a meritless argument.

5. Remarkably, Prophet Muhammad declared, “There was a prophet of God in India who is dark in color and his name was Kahan [Krishna]” (History of Hamadan Dailmi Chapter Al-Kaaf). Some critics allege this is not a Sahih (authentic) hadith, and while their assessment could be valid, their conclusion that the hadith should be discarded is invalid. Basic Islamic jurisprudence holds that if a hadith does not contradict the Quran, then it may be accepted as valid. As mentioned earlier, nothing in the Quran, Sunnah or Hadith declare that Lord Krishna was not a prophet of God. Thus, Prophet Muhammad’s testimony provides clear guidance of Lord Krishna’s status in Islam — that of a prophet. In fact, a renowned early 19th century Muslim scholar, Muhammad Qasim Nanotwi also was of the opinion that considering the evidence and this hadith, Lord Krishna was a true Prophet of God (Dharam Parchar Pg 8 & Debate Shah Jahan Pur Pg 31).

6. Islam’s Third Article of Faith is the Belief in God’s Books. This is why Muslims revere the Injeel (Gospels) and Torah (Old Testament). Thus, it is only logical that Muslims also revere the Gita and Vedas, Hinduism’s holy scriptures from which Lord Krishna taught.

7. Earlier I mentioned that both Islam and Hinduism teach the unity of God and service of mankind — a message both Prophet Muhammad and Lord Krishna taught. In fact, the Vedas state, “There is only one God, worship Him” (Rig Veda, 6.45.16) and “Do not worship any one beside Him” (Rig Veda 8.1.1) and also, “God is only one, not a second” (Chandogya Upanishad Ch. 6.2.1). Furthermore, countless verses in the Vedas teach the service of mankind. For example, “Oh Noble men! We do not commit violence. We do not hurt others. We do not quarrel either. We of course chant Vedas and act according to its dictates” (Rig Veda 10.134.7) and “Every man should protect the other in all respects” (Atharva 6.64.1). Again, while admitted theological differences exist between Islam and Hinduism today, no doubt exists that Prophet Muhammad and Lord Krishna both taught God’s unity and service to mankind.

8. Furthermore, Lord Krishna’s scriptures clearly prophesize Prophet Muhammad’s advent in multiple places. We provide just two. Bhavisyath Purana 3:5-8 states, “A spiritual reformer will come from a foreign land (outside Bharat) with his disciples. His name will be Mahamad. He will dwell in a desert.” Likewise, “His [Mahamad’s] followers will perform circumcision. They will not keep their hair in the form of Choti as the Brahmans do. They will keep beard. They will bring about a revolution. They will call with a loud voice [i.e. Adhaan]. They will eat meat of animals other than that of swine. They will attain purity through Jihad. Their civilization will be called Muslay [Muslim].” For the sake of brevity we will avoid further commentary on these verses as they speak volumes on their own. Suffice it to say, however, that these verses further support the argument that the same God who sent Prophet Muhammad, sent Lord Krishna. Earlier we provided Prophet Muhammad’s hadith validating Lord Krishna, and now we provide Lord Krishna’s holy scripture validating Prophet Muhammad. What further proof do we need that Prophet Muhammad and Lord Krishna are brothers cut from the same mold?

9. Finally, in the Quran, God gives Prophet Muhammad the auspicious title of Khataman Nabiyeen or Seal of the Prophets (33:41). While some limit this title’s meaning to “last,” from Hadith and authentic Arabic lexicon it is clear that the true import of “Seal” is Greatness and Validation. That is, Prophet Muhammad is called not only the greatest prophet, but also the Validation of all prophets. Thus, it makes perfect sense why Prophet Muhammad specifically called Lord Krishna a Prophet — part of his purpose in coming was to declare to the world that God did not abandon any people. Rather, God sent His guidance and prophets to all people. In doing so, Prophet Muhammad validated Lord Krishna’s truthfulness — something no prophet of any faith outside of Islam has done. Thus, as human beings we must honor and revere all those prophets because the same God sent each of them — Lord Krishna being no exception.

In short, Prophet Lord Krishna was a noble, righteous, beloved one of God. Far from theological division, he is a source of unity and accord between Hindus and Muslims.

  1. Nine points were put forward in the mentioned article so as to demonstrate that Islam is a gatherer of religions and great religious personalities around the world, in particular Lord Krishna from Indian sub-continent, is a prophet of Islam, and so is his teachings.
Readers are invited to refer to the nine points in the mentioned article to have a better understanding of following refutations :
    1. That the “Sabians refer to non-Abrahamic traditions – Hindus, Buddhists, Zoroastrians, Taoists, etc” is neither the belief of the four school of thoughts of Sunni Muslims nor of the twelver Shia Muslims. In truth, the Sabians follow the teachings of John the Baptist but is neither Muslim nor Christian. [2]
    2. That Muslims should recognise Lord Krishna as Allah’s prophet is outside the pale of the teachings of the five school of thoughts mentioned above because both the Quran and the hadith (books of traditions of the Prophet Muhammad) mention only Abrahamic and Arabic prophets’ names. [3] “The Fourth Article of Faith is the belief in all of God’s prophets” means that Muslims must believe in all the prophets who are named in the Quran and authentic Hadith and also that Allah sent many other prophets whom Allah did not deem it necessary to mention.
    3. That “Prophet Muhammad (saw) further declared that God has sent no less than 124,000 prophets to mankind throughout history (Ibn Hanbal, Musnad, 5, 169) of which only 28 are mentioned in the Quran.” shows the author’s lack of Islamic knowledge because only 25 prophets were named in the Quran. [4]
    4. To speculate whether this and that personality is a prophet of Allah is illogical as there is no way to prove it and if knowledge about them was important and their reverence, their names would have been mentioned in the Quran or at least in the authentic Hadith.
    5. That “Prophet Muhammad (saw) declared, “There was a prophet of God in India who is dark in color and his name was Kahan” (History of Hamadan Dailmi Chapter Al-Kaaf)” is considered as not being authentic by all the five school of thoughts. To prove his belief in the above hadith, the author wrote : “basic Islamic jurisprudence holds that if a hadith does not contradict the Quran, then it may be accepted as valid.”
My question is, where in the sacred books of Sanatan Dharma is it written that Kahan is Lord Krishna. I invite Mr Bakarkhan and anyone who believes so, to prove its source to us from sacred books of Sanatan Dharma and spare us from the insignificant comparison that Kahan contains the same consonants K,N,H as does the name Kanhaya. If Kanhaya was meant, Kanhaya would have been written, not Kahan.
    6. a) According to the Quran, the believers whom Allah recognises are “Jews, Christians, and the Sabians” [5], thus it is logic that only their sacred books should Muslims revere [6] instead of other religious books which contain completely different teachings compared to the mentioned Abrahamic religions in the Quran, as stated above.
 b) Lord Krishna has never called himself a prophet of God. Rather he claimed to be the supreme God, the creator (B.Gita 7.6), the omnipresent (B.Gita 7.7), omnipotent (B.Gita 7.26).
    7. That the Vedas state, “There is only one God, worship Him” (Rig Veda, 6.45.16) and “Do not worship any one beside Him” (Rig Veda 8.1.1) and also, “God is only one, not a second” (Chandogya Upanishad Ch. 6.2.1) is in no way in contradiction to Vaishnava Hindus who believe that Krishna is the ninth Avatar of Vishnu, the Almighty Supreme God of Hinduism, because in whatever form He takes, he is the only one God – the supreme. [7]
    8. Instead of quoting with pride the Bhavisyath Purana 3:5-8 to show to our Hindu brothers and sisters that the prophecy of the advent of Prophet Muhammad is mentioned in their book and believing that the “Mahamada” stated therein is the Prophet Muhammad himself, those particular Muslims should rather be rejecting this comparison for the honour of their Prophet and his teachings… [8]
9. refer to 5 & 6.
One would then ask, if Lord Krishna is not considered as a prophet of Allah, then where did the author – as a muslim – get those ideas from ? For those who are well versed in Islam, just reading the title is enough to conclude that the author is either from Ahmadiyya Islam community or is influenced by that community’s teachings because they are the only one Islamic group where Lord Krishna is believed to be a prophet of Allah. 2. It is an interesting topic. I have recently obtained a copy of Holy Bhagwat Geeta. I am trying to read that.
At different places, Lord Krishna said something which was pointing to the real actual God Almighty, and not concerning himself.

The Muslims should believe in Lord Krishana as a divine person from God, i.e. a prophet. There is no harm in believing. The Quran is telling that Allah sent messengers to all nations. It means messengers were sent to India too.
Now, we look for a prophet in India and we cannot find any reverred person of very old times in India except Lord Rama and Krishna.
They had their books too. It means they were given the knowledge and they conveyed it to others. Their record continues to live in our age.
To deny the status of prophet for Lord Krishna will be to deny the teaching of the Quran.
Maulvis have the habit of denying all the useful Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.s.
If it is told that Isa a.s. lived for 120 years, they deny it. If it is told that the prophet s.a.w.s. said, “If Musa and Isa were alive today, they will have to walk behind me in my path.” The maulvis deny that too.
If it reminded that according to Ibn e Maja, There is no Mahdi except Isa a.s., the mauulvis deny that too.
Here too, sohail sahib is denying some news about a prophet of balck color in India.
We are not bound to follow the leaders of the five mazaahib. We have come to know the serious mistakes they have made in books of traditions. Some one had been cooking some traditions (sayings) to mislead the Muslims.

As I have read, I found the replies by Anisa as the best replies. Replies were most accurate and very gentle. Al Hamdu Lillah.
And every one has done well in giving their opinion. The Hindu friends have also done very well. It is true that (perhaps) it is the Ahmadis only who believe Lord Krishna as a prophet. The other maulvis may be considering him as a Kaafir. Astaghfir u Allah. The majority Muslims need to learn much about the beautiful, peaceful face of Islam. Wassalam.
There is no harm in learning from each other.

  3. DEAR ALL HINDUS, MUSLIMS(NOT HUMANS)
LET US TRY TO BE HUMAN FIRST, THEN
    HINDU OR MUSLIM.
ALL RELIGION ARE LIKE PEARL IN THE WORLD HISTORY AND ALL GREAT RELIGIONS ALWAYS HELP US TO CHOOSE RIGHT WAY IN OUR LIFE. ANY HINDU BOOKS DOES NOT SAY HATE OTHER RELIGION AND I BELIEVE THE ALL ISLAMIC BOOK ALSO TEACHES TO LOVE OTHER RELIGIONS. WE SHOULD ACCEPT THAT IF WE FIGHT, WE WILL GET NOTHING EXCEPT ENDLESS HATE TO EACH OTHER. THE WORLD WILL NEVER BE ZERO MUSLIMS OR ZERO HINDUS. LET US GROW MAN. LET US LOVE EACH OTHER.
    THANKS

  4. Every authentic Hadith is being denied by some friends here. There is no need to mention the name of Lord Karishna in the Quran. Not all the prophets of Israel have been mentioned by name in the Quran.
When it is written in the Quran that Allah sent prophet to every nation then we believe that prophet was sent to the Indian people.
There is no other person revered by the Hindus in India except Raam and Karishan.
At the same time every wrong tradition is being presented by non-Ahmadis as true. That creates lot of problems.

Ahmadis had presented the Hadith of the eclipse of the Moon and the Sun in the same month of Ramadhan on special dates in same year. That Hadith is reported in the Sunni book and the Shia book. The Hadith came from the children of the Prophet s.a.w.s. They seldom give any link or names of reporters.
That hadith begins with the words “There are two signs for our Mahdi. Those signs have never been shown for any one before since the creation of heavens and earth….” These words give importance to the words that follow, about eclipses. The sign is in the sky which no one can manipulate for himself.

This Hadith is present in the very old books. It is not made up by any school of thought and not made up by Ahmadis. Yet some persons are against such good news. It means there is no end to denying the truth. (This Hadith needs further explanation).

I will describe a few more Hadith which are denied by the opponents of Ahmadiyat on this forum.
    1. Isa ibne maryam lived for 120 years and I hope I shall go away at the head of sixty (years)…..”

Please note the full Hadith and then deny it. It is reported by Hazrat Aisha or Hazrat Fatima Rz.a. as follows:
During the last year of his life, The prophet s.a.w.s. said that Jibreel a.s. used to revise with me, once, in the month of Ramadhan all the revealed portion of the Quran every year. This year, he revised (repeated) it with me twice.

There is no prophet who did not attain (at least) half the age of his predecessor (prophet). ISA LIVED FOR 120 YEARS AND I HOPE TO GO AWAY AT THE HEAD OF SIXTY (YEARS).”

Any one who will deny the last capital letter lines, shown above, will have to deny the whole Hadith about the visit of Jibreel a.s. and his revision process. How bad and impossile!!!

Next about Hadith in Ibne Majah: We should see all the words of that Hadith. i.e. beginning, as follows:
“In the end times there will be lot of troubles and turmoil in the world, nation will fight against nation and there will be lot of Fitnah (mischief) in the world…. and THERE IS NO MAHDI EXCEPT ISA.”
Now deny the last part of that hadith and what will happen to the beginning part??? It clearly shows that the Hadith is true because it has proved itself in present times.
Also there is another Hadith in another book (Muslim) which states that Isa will appear amongst the Muslims as ,,,,, Imaamann Mahdiyann.” That hadith is clearly telling that hazrat isa a.s. will be the Imam Mahdi. There is no running away from all these proofs.

The Hadith in the book of Imam Bukhari is telling:
“How happy you will be when Isa Ibne Maryam will arrive amongst you and he will be your Imam from amongst you.”

The words of Hadith are: “kaifa antum idha nazala Isa Ibne Maryam feekum wa (huwa) Imamu kum minkum.” The word Wa huwa is makhzoof in that Hadith. It has to be interpolated, (wisely) as shown above.
If we translate that Hadith in a different way (wrong way), it will perhaps read as follows:
“How happy you will be (O Muslims) when Isa Ibne Maryam will arrive amongst you and he will not be your Imam.” What good news is there??

People accuse the promised Messiah a.s. about becoming Maryam i.e. a lady. They laugh at such similes. But the Quran is giving the example of all believing men and women, by the wife of the King pharaoh and by Maryam daughter of Imran. So all believers are spiritually, likened to Maryam.
The Promised Messiah a.s. said that he was Isa ibne Maryam. No harm at all. There is a Hadith. The prophet Muhammad s.a.w.s. said, ” I am more entitled to be (called) Isa Ibne Maryam….” The words in that hadith are “Anaa aulaa bi Ibne Maryam…”. Aulaa means more near and spiritually close (similar) to some one,,, having more right to be as one…”

There will be more denials. But do we care! Nearly all the maulvis are keeping hazrat Isa a.s. alive in heavens (or sky) against the clear words of the Quran and hadith. The word “Tawaffa” is used 24 times in the Quran. It is sed twice in salaat Janaazah ( funeral prayers). Eveyr where it means passing away ot taking the soul and leaving the body alone… in Urdu language the word “wafaat” is sed for passing away. But opponents of Ahmadis do not admit. They deny every thing. The greatest maulvi (M) spent all his life trying to prove that Isa a.s. was still alive and that he had not died.

That bad work was all useless. It caused tremendous harm to the cause of Islam. It is time for all sensible Muslims to come to the centers of Ahmadiyat to learn the truth (about all prophets) and be peaceful.

  5. i just want to comment on GHULAM SARWAR very briefly.
he says at few places lord rishna points to real god almighty but not himself.
my question is how did ghulam conclude that he does not point to himself when at several places he claims himself to be the god.
remember all prophets said at several occasion that they all worship their lords but lord krishna never said that he has a heavenly father or thet he worship him.rather he says that he is the supreme reality and none else.he even goes a step further and proves his claim by showing his cosmic form.
only a manipulating mind like ghulam sarwar can bend things as per their own accord.they like to hide the truth that’s all.

  6. Islam Answers All your questions and doubts… 1st don’t be narrow minded look islam broadly,
In day today life NEWS Media and others present Islam as the fast growing religion (not Hinduism, not Buddhism, not even Christianity) though they have very strong missionaries. The reason now people are broad minded they are looking for right answers. And Islam got answers for all human problems starting from human birth to death.. Financial, politics.. Women’s right and protection, medical… What to do and what not to do… Quran is a complete user manual from god how to lead a life.
Let’s talk about Hinduism India have majority of Hindus but how many of them knows about Vedas and still not sure which book to follow. I challenge in the whole community of Hinduism (May have lakhs of sects) who know the first verse in their holy scripture?
None have knowledge about it (May be less than 5 to 10 percent they could be pandit s or Brahmanas) only they know about God Baghvan Eswar created only Bramins and pandits. Other Hindus are not created by Bagvan was this a Hindu scripture teaching only Brahmins and pandits have heaven and hell all others from clay and dust?
This is now triggering the people of modern times looking at Muslims praying to gather in Mosque no sect no color and no age difference all Stand together and pray to one god. And there is no Muslim in this world without knowing the opening chapter of Al Quran it’s soo strong verses about god in Opening chapter. 1400 years passed now Un countable people memorised Quran than any other Holy scripture in the phase of earth… You cannot deny it even a 5 year child memorising the whole Quran. This 600 pages miracle of miracle. Where are the other scriptures standing even the holy Bible none of the Christian scholars know complete bible, because this is how they are trained to preach. Though there is true message they don’t want to deliver it..

You know why this happened these are all the existing proof that past scriptures are getting corrupted by the preachers for their own benefits. That’s why Quran was revealed with strong message this Holy book is for complete humanity not only for Arabs it teaches to spread this message of truth.

Let’s go to prophet Krishna as he is mentioned in Hadith we Muslims have to consider him as prophet only…
For the sake of argument lets believe him as God and Supreme power, then who is Lord Vishnu, Brahma and his wife Saraswati.. Are they not Gods..? Though Vedas clearly say no idol worship and saying only one god still Hindus doing things against their teaching… This is a proof of deviation from original scripture that why Quran revealed with its strong message… Only one god he neither begets not begotten there is nothing equal to him… See the quranic message very strong no confusion on God.
If Krishna is also god and Rama is also god and Vishnu also god how will who is the supreme, if Brahma who created the universe is supreme then Krishna is not supreme , if Krishna who steal the butter is supreme then Brahma is out. Is lord Vishnu is supreme then other 2 are out.
Now look into your scripture and your teachings and you will understand why Almighty God Allah revealed Quran.
That’s why there is only one god we pray any all others who sent by Allah are prophets only cannot be God. During prophet Mohammed SAS time there is muslims there was no Shias and mujahids they are sects created recently even prophet have prophecies ed about the separation and returning of prophet Jesus AS to unite it back… This is happening to even islam think about other religion what could have happened to them which is more ancient than islam…

  7. Krishna never said that he was God. He is considered as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.Incarnation is only a synonym for prophet. There is a story that when Narada saw Krishna praying to Lord Vishnu, he asks Krishna why he is doing so when all consider him as God. It is true that Bhagavat Gita speaks only of one God.Krishna tells Arjuna that those who worship other gods are ignorant and foolish. We can only think that some prophets are more blessed than others. According to Hindu scriptures human soul is a part of the Oversoul. Ordinary men are not aware of this. As prophets are blessed by God, there no distinction for them. They become one with God.

  8. Hk. All I can say that may krishna grant all human being a little sense to understand him as a sole ALMIGHTY.

There is no point in arguing in who is bigger or who is not the point is some nag minded people tried to buried the fact and still trying in order to run the business of their religion. Really feel pity at them nothing gonna change if any one accept the existence of krishna
as sole n true Almighty supreme personality of god head as the truth prevails at any cost. Truth find its way

  9. Dear Sorab68, Sorry, I took so long time to reply. Mohammed Rafeeq has explained many things. Then Vinodkumar Edachery has also given some input.
I have to tell you that I have just got a good copy of holy Geeta in some language (I cannot understand) that is translated into English. It is good reading but I am a novice (not expert). Still as I read Geeta, I found that Lord Krishna a.s. was
pointing to real God almighty but not himself.
That is what I noted. It is difficult now to present any reference of those verses of holy Geeta. I will have to read whole Geeta again to note those verses. Excuse me, it may be difficult to do that again. Be Happy.

  10. THERE WERE 1,24,000 PROPHETS OF ALLAH WHICH WERE SEND TO THIS FACE EARTH FROM PROPHET ADAM (P.B.U.H) TILL PROPHET MUHAMMAD (P.B.U.H). IN QURAN (THE LAST & FINAL REVELATION OF ALLAH), IT IS ALSO SAID EVERY NATIONS & COMUNITY RECEVIED PROPHETS & MESSENGERS OF ALLAH BUT BY NAME ONLY 25 PROPHETS WERE MENTIONED IN THE HOLY QURAN.

EVEN IF RAM, KRISHNA, MAHAVEERA, VYASA, BUDDHA, CONFUCIUOS & OTHERS WERE A PROPHETS OR MESSENGERS OF ALLAH, THEY WERE MENT TO FOLLOW & SENDED TO THEIR OWN TIME & DAYS OF PEOPLES, EVEN IF VEDAS, TAURAT, ZABUR, SCROLLS & INJEEL (NOT BIBLE) WAS A WORD OF ALLAH, IT WAS MENT TO FOLLOW DURING THEIR OWN TIME PERIOD. PROPHET MUHAMMAD (P.B.U.H) WAS SENDED TO WHOLE HUMAN KIND & HOLY QURAN WAS ALSO REVEALED TO ALL HUMAN KIND.

  11. Its always gr8 to gain knowledge…m a muslim..i dont have idea of shia sunni or ahmdis…i knw i practice islam..stop doing communitywise differences if u undrstnd the islam…
I too belive there are prophet in india too…coz our india is thousnds years old..so how can god(maaz allah) b ignorant..
My hindu brothers n sis have thier faith..respect u..
Some of my other brother n sis tries to clarify on the basis of our holy books..
V can conclude this topic happily seeing v all belive in one god..forget everythg except worshipping allah bhagwan..lets increase our faith in allah..he sent massengrs only to make us belive in him..his mission is done..lets pray and forgive each other..
God bless us and give hidayat( guidence) to b on correct path…

  12. How was Krishna a prophet of ‘islam’ when he is not mentioned in any muhammadan literature? If he is claimed to have been, then anybody can be incorporated as a muhammadan prophet. After all, Muhammad said he had a jinn(devil)that converted to islam.

  13. dear nazneen
i loved ur comment most nd found it most reasonable, respectable, honest and convincing. m happy tht u r trully following ISLAM nd respecting others believes.

    dear ol
i respect ur blieves.every1 is ryt at their points bt the person who written very first ” KRISHNA is a prophet of ALLAH” has offended me….
i know tht u wil try to prove allah as supreme power of universe caz u worship him. i wil prove my krishna as supreme caz i love, respect and worship him.its my blieve.till here everything z fyn bt who the hell has given u ryt to say tht everyother religiously believed gods lyk krishna ,shiva, jesus ol r sent by allah. wht if sm1 say tht allah was a prophet sent by jesus. i wil say tht allah was sent by krishna.
it doesnt mean nything. u can babble out nything.so plz stop it. believe ur religion nd god bt dont try to treat urself supreme. ur very first sentence z disgusting.i dont read to many buks bt its a simple fact which evry1 can easily undrstand..dunno wht drove u to write this bullshit. i can read nd write as well as have studied urdu. i lyk language so no offences bt dont dare to write such points.it hurt our feelings n believes.u r not witness of nything so plz dont give such statement. ur confidence nd evidences r lyk- allah called u on phone n said “dear XYZ i m sending my 1 prophet…note down it.” dont b so sure n confident on wrong facts n dont post it.
so take care of it….i humbly suggest u.
    eid -mubarak
    thanku ol

  14. shailendra, thank you for your input. According to you, Lord Krishna was not a prophet. Perhaps you believe that he was a God Almighty. Can you please tell me about Rama too? was he also a God? or just a man of God? How many Gods do you believe? Please let us know so that we can discuss with you.
If Lord Krishna was the God then he must have sent Moses and Jesus and Budha and Muhammad in the world as prophets. Do you agree?
Does your book say so? Can you present something from your book? Thanks. No hard feelings.
No doubt, Ahmadi Muslims believe Lord Krishna as a great man, a great personality, a man of God. He appeared to every one as a man. Every one saw him as a man. There is no doubt that he was a man. We do not mean any disrespect to Krishna.

  15. dear all,

It really amuses me bcos even Prophet Muhammad and Lord Krishna will never argue in such a fashion the way we do. See all the great people who have walked on the face of earth have indicated towards one thing that is love for humanity and all beings.
The problem is not with the religion or any sacred book, the problem arises when we try to attach our ego to our respective faiths and proclaim to be superior.
Contrary to this all existing faiths today on earth preach that you can reach almighty only through shuning ones ego. Bcos ego is the only veil between humans and almighty.
Secondly on prophet and God incernation, think where have we come from. this whole universe is manifestetion of almighty only. There is nothing except almighty.
Even prophet muhammad said, one who has known himself has known Allah. What is Fana-Fil-Sheak in Quran i.e. comunion with allah. So why argue on such pety issues that some one is prophet or god reincarnation, instead follow their teachings to attain highest state.Once highest state is attained all confusions and arguments will be over as it ended for Lord Krishna and Prophet Muhhamad.

  16. first thing u should know z that lord rama n lord krishna was in different tymes called “YUG”. Lord krishna was in “dwaparyug” and Lord ram was “in “tretayug”. nd we have also believes according to great GEETA n other religious books that lord Vishnu takes “avatar”in every yug to destroy evil n for sake of world n humanity.
as per u was asking in how many gods I believe….
leave it bro Caz this page very short to brief u the history n details of my religion n belief
and yes both of them were god Caz they were incarnations if god Vishnu . its not very much difficult for god to appear in living world nd leave after fulfiling his purpose.
I never said that lord Krishna has sent Jesus n Muhammad as prophets in this world r even allah itself z a prophet of krishna .its also not possible that there r 3-4 gods lyk Vishnu,Jesus,allah…..
THER z a superpower to whom u cal Allah ….we Hindus cal vishnu …Brahma..Shiva etc…. different people cal him from different names nd have their own believes.
so caling one as prophet of other z totally ridiculous n absurd. what is the need of telling Allah as almighty god and others as prophet of him in very first place….follow ur believes BT don’t make it public caz its not point of discussing nd debate. its Mttr of ur own conscience……no one can challenge on wht z truth Caz no one have seen it. everybody can argue juz on basis of religious books nd wht our elders have thought us.neither u r witness of Allah being supreme nor I m witness of krishna being almighty. so don’t argue on this conclusion less topic.

  17. Assalamo alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuhu.

My attention has been drawn for some time already on the subject of Kalki Avtar and while searching on this subject I found the following two documents from the Hindi page of alislam, the contents of which I couldn’t unfortunately grasp, not knowing Hindi:

    Kalki Avtar (http://www.alislam.org/hindi/Kalki-Avtar.pdf)

Shri Krishan Ji Aur Kalki Avatar (http://www.alislam.org/hindi/Shri-Krishan-Ji-Aur-Kalki-Avatar.pdf)

I gather that in Ahmadiyyat we consider Hazrat Massih Mawood (a.s) to represent this Kalki Avatar. I was interested to understand the relationship between Hazrat Krishna (a.s) and the Kalki Avatar (from the point of view of Hindus as well) and to have references where Hazrat Massih Mawood (a.s) has identified himself as being this Kalki Avatar and where he specifically used the work Kalki possibly.

Furthermore, I have also been recently referred to a book by Pandit Ved Prakash entitled ‘Kalki Avtar and Muhammed Saheb (p.b.u.h)’ which I also retrieved at the following link http://www.scribd.com/doc/48272585/38885420-KALKI-AVTAR-in-English. I was also interested to know what we may have to say about this book and about referring to Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w) as the Kalki Avatar.

Perhaps could some enlighten us on this subject.

    Jazakallah

    Wassalam

  18. Shailendra, thank you for your detailed reply. You stated “THER z a superpower to whom u cal Allah ….we Hindus cal vishnu …Brahma..Shiva etc…. different people cal him from different names nd have their own believes.”
It means you believe in a super power and that power is One only. He appears in different forms at different times. You believe that God appears on earth at different times under different names in different people.
Well that is good. You are more close to the Christians because they also believe that Jesus was a God who roamed the world as a man, like your Krishna and Rama.
Another interesting point from your words is: Why He (God) will send prophets and messengers if he is Himself appearing on earth in the form of a man? That gets rid of all the prophets and messengers of the Jewish, Christian and Muslim faiths.
I thank you again for your effort to help me. I hope I have not misunderstood what you said. Thanks.

  19. idiots you Muslims not from India, India only belongs to Hindus .you are right aiswarya these Muslims don’t know anything!!Krishna is not a prophet,he a avatar of god ‘Vishnu’.hamare bharat me rahkar hamare Krishna ko neeche dikhane ki koshish kar rage ho! ek falak rahman ko eisa kuch bhi kar nahi saktha!please don’t try to spread fake information “okay”…!!!

  20. Will any muslim here clarify if Lord Krishna ever pray to Allah or talk about Allah ?

Is there any mention of Allah in the gita ?

Lord Krishna refers to himself as the supreme soul and soutce of the entire universe in the gita.

Dont resort to this tricks to fool. We are not muslims to be braiwashed or fooled.

Zakir naik also tried to prove Kalki as the prophet and made an ass of himself.
Stop cherry picking on other religions to prove islam as the right religion.

    Thanks

  21. Shailendra, thank you for your detailed reply. You stated “THER z a superpower to whom u cal Allah ….we Hindus cal vishnu …Brahma..Shiva etc…. different people cal him from different names nd have their own believes.”
That is good. It means Hindus call the One Super power as Vishnu or Brahma or Shiva and they are all the same and not many different persons. The Muslims call that ONE Allah. So it is only a problem of names. Otherwise we are all talking about the same One God.
There is also important to understand what is avatar? Avatar of Vishnu is himself Vishnu or some one representing Vishnu? If he is himself Vishnu then why we will not call Him Vishnu? And we should forget any Avatar business.
I am trying to read the links provided by Afzal. May be there will be something in those links on this subject of Kalki avatar.
Hindus may believe in lord Karishna as God Almighty. Muslims take him as a prophet of God Allah i.e. prophet from Lord Vishnu. No harm. Whereas the Hindus consider Karishna as God, Muslims consider him as a prophet or a person who was representing God at time. That belief of Muslims is not too bad.
Muslims do not say anything bad about Karishna. A prophet is not a mean status. It is the highest status possible for any man. So Hindus should not feel bad about that, until they give a similar respect to the prophet Muhammad and Jesus and Moses and Abraham.
I will look into this matter. If Avatar means a prophet or messenger of God Almighty then everything will become easy for Hindus and Muslims. So let us get after the meaning of the word Avatar first. Please give input and no hard feelings. Wassalam.

  22. first of all simply give a concrete proof from bhagavath geetha that krishna is a prophet. all the verses in bhagavath geetha points to the fact that krishna is a prophet. as for the question”prove krishna displayed his universal form”, prove first that he didnt. and prove that muhammed went to heaven alive, and prove the quran to b the word of god and prove that the core teachings of islam are true. all these above questions including the univ=versal form of krishna are inconceivable to mankind, so the very question itself makes no sense.

There is also important to understand what is avatar? Avatar of Vishnu is himself Vishnu or some one representing Vishnu? If he is himself Vishnu then why we will not call Him Vishnu? And we should forget any Avatar business.

    answers:
avathar of vishnu is vishnu himself expanding into various forms.
    question:
if he is vishnu, why not call him vishnu
    answer:
we call him(avathars) as vishnu, but he takes specific names wen he takes incarnations. all these are his perfect transcendental names.indeed he has thousand of such names(vishnu sahasranaama) like ninety nine names of allah. he has these different names wen he takes these different avatharas at different times as his wish and the circumstances of dharma and above all , his devotees. having different names dosen’t mean anything by the way, the peson is the same.

Muslims do not say anything bad about Karishna. A prophet is not a mean status. It is the highest status possible for any man. So Hindus should not feel bad about that, until they give a similar respect to the prophet Muhammad and Jesus and Moses and Abraham.

answer:sure, i hav no probs with that. may krishna the supreme lord giv peace unto the souls of his prophets such as prophet muhammed, prophet moses, prophet jesus, etc.

I will look into this matter. If Avatar means a prophet or messenger of God Almighty then everything will become easy for Hindus and Muslims. So let us get after the meaning of the word Avatar first. Please give input and no hard feelings. Wassalam.

avathara means “to come down”, meaning “the supreme lord coming down from heaven to earth”- the meaning itself points to the fact that avathara of lord vishnu is vishnu himself and that he is god staying in the highest heaven, at the same time all pervasive.

Why He (God) will send prophets and messengers if he is Himself appearing on earth in the form of a man?

    answers:
first of all krishna says that he takes incarnations as per his wish. thus at times he feels to sent his prophets and at times he feels to come down himself. this ais just an answer.
but the most important thing is this:god is both merciful and just and caring to his devotees. wen his devotees are under supression or suffering due to tyrrant forces, krishna comes down himself to personally save his devotees from trouble. and as per reincarnation is concerned, you bcm wat u do and think, thus the tyrant forces such as evil kings are impure due to their sins bcoz of the sins they committed in their past lives wen u continously commit sins in successive births, then these sins and spiritual impiety accumulates and a situation comes wen no kind of good influene=ce in this world can purfy ur soul. krishna makes these “gone case guys” as the turants whom the lord plans to kill in the material world wen he takes avatharas. now if someone is killed by the pure hands of krishna or even merely touched by him,all the sins of those gone cases gets washed and are immediately transfeered to heaven-in this way krishna shows his mercy.
    thus he primarily takesavatharas wen:
(1)his devotees are in trouble, here krishna takes avatharas to directly associate with tyem as thir liver and as their saviour and thereby reassuring their faith and also bcoz krishna the supreme lord loves his devotees to the core.
(2)to deliver salvation to the spiritually gone cases(which i have explained above)which can b done with associations with krishna alone.
but god sents prophets in a slightly different situation-in order to give ppl the spiritual messages of the scriptures etc. in these situations, it is enough for the supreme lord shri krishna to sent his prophets/messengers, etc.
i hope this answers ur question

  23. If Lord Krishna was the God then he must have sent Moses and Jesus and Budha and Muhammad in the world as prophets. Do you agree?
Does your book say so? Can you present something from your book? Thanks. No hard feelings.

    answer:
the books does not mention their nales but that dosent mean that they are not the messengers of god krishna-they can be. just like quran does not mention the names of the 124000 prophets

  24. question:
During prophet Mohammed SAS time there is muslims there was no Shias and mujahids they are sects created recently even prophet have prophecies ed about the separation and returning of prophet Jesus AS to unite it back… This is happening to even islam think about other religion what could have happened to them which is more ancient than islam…

    wnderful question.
vishnu is the supreme lord himself. the other gods are demigods who are partial expansions of lord vishnu himself-lord vishnu is infinite the others are not.i will elaborate this a bit later, continue posting qiestions on this line bcoz more the questions, more we think and mor answers we get.

Now look into your scripture and your teachings and you will understand why Almighty God Allah revealed Quran.

the answer i gave above-both are the same supreme person lord vishnu himself who takes incarnations at different times. moreover krishna being god can take different forms at the same time, as a story goes in the bhagavatham.
brahma created the univers only a servant a worker-the real engineer is shri krishna himself who plans, designs and give the material to brahma to construct the universe-just as the case of engineer and worker- worker simply constructs the struvcture as per the plan given to him by the ebgineer. indeed brahma is himself created by krishna- these are easily quotable from the bhagavatham.
as for krishna stealing butter- this is only his pasttime activities with his devotees-shri krishna is the supreme lord of the universe, but at the same time he is the dearest frend of his devotees
the bhagavatham says that the supreme lord “surrenders to the pure love of his pure devotees” even though “the entire universes with its highest demigods are under his control.”. in this way, krishna stealing butter does not reflect any of his theological aspects but simply substantiates his pasttimes with his devotees.

the idol worship case in hindu scriptue requires a more deeper understanding of deep hindu theology and metaphysics (such as the cocepts of brahman, unmanifested and manifested aspect of the supreme, etc)which is beyond the scope of our discussion, but anyway i will explain it to u guys a bit later, but i myself hav to do a bit homewrk and warming up for me.

    till then peace guys

  25. Thank you Saroj for taking much trouble to explain the basics of the Hindu faith and teachings. Thank you. You have provided quite enough and it needs to be digested.
I have understood that your belief is the same as that of the Christians. Christians believe that Jesus is a God who came to earth in human form to guide mankind. You also believe that Supreme creator God comes to earth in human forms as and when required.
So Jesus could be Vishnu himself?? Perhaps not???

  26. @ ghulam sarwar
    namasthe brother
as far as christianity and hinduism are concerned, there is this somewhat similar and different concept.jesus was son of god and krishna is the supreme lord himself(the “FATHER” for christians).
i do not think that jesus id krishna’s incarnation because primarily God’s incarnations are 10 and they descend in core situation where dharma/righteousness is in terrible scrutiny and nothing can be done to save and support dharma. at that time the lord descends to support dharma .

“So Jesus could be Vishnu himself?? Perhaps not???”
    my response:
as for this, i have no idea. the answer might be perhaps not, as jesus himself prays many times to the FATHER IN HEAVEN. even at the time wen he is crossed, he just says”eli eli lemma sathaccanni” “my god, my god, why has u 4saken me” thus jesus might be a spiritual guide/prophet sent by vishnu.
i have somewhat discussed the situation where god sents a prophet/guide/mesenger/nebi/rasool etc. and wen he takes incarnations. based on them, i think jesus was a gr8 guid, or even son of god(this i do not know.krishna/allah knows the truth and the best.)i will be looking into this a bit deeper later bcoz now i am on the following topic:
    hare krishna

i have a bit of homework to do before i post areply on the case of “idol worship” bcoz it can be explained in terms of a few concepts which is profound in hinduism and according to which, if these verses are interpreted shows no probs in “idol worship”. it may wseem contradictory now but once i explain it doubts will be cleared by allah/krishna’s grace.

    hare krishna.

  27. Lord Krishna is Himself the supreme God…..not a messenger of God …so u can’t compare d two n say that He “Was” a messenger of Allah….he is immortal……He doesn’t die….while in ua concept of Islam messengers do die……

  28. Thank you Saroj, keep working. I am reading Geeta and in Geeta, Lord Krishna talks about The One Supreme at many times. It appears that he is talking about a One God.
Also, please note that there is mention of other gods in GEETA. Let us know if it is in good words or it is in derogatory words.
Let us know if any prophet is mentioned in Hindu books. Please name them. WE respect Moses and Jesus and Krishana and Budha because our prophet Muhammad has taught us to respect all great men of all nations. Thank you.

  30. @Ghulam Sarwar

    dear sir,
    ur comment/question:

“Thank you Saroj, keep working.
Thank you.”

    answer:
yes sir thats true. but that does not mean he refers to another god- he is mentioning god in a trivial manner. it appareantly seems he is referring to another supreme god but that is only apparent- a bit more search will prove that even if he seperately uses the word “god”, he is not refering to another god, but indirectly to himself.
for example, in one verse krishna says”the supreme lord stays in the heart of everyone as the supersoul”. this might seem that krishna is refering here to another supreme god staying in the heart. but in another verse(probably chapter no. 9, i dont remember)krishna says that he(krishna himself) stays in the heart of everyone as the supersoul . this clears this apparent contradiction. in the first case, krishna was giving weight to another topic (nature of the material world and its maya properties, etc), thus he was saying that god existed in everyones heart as a supersoul in a very trivial manner, not specifically mentioning he as god. whereas in the next case where krishna said that he himself stayed in the heart of all, he was very specificcaly mentioning that he is the supreme lord of all.here he is explaining his supreme nature and opulences and description as the supreme God of all that be. since here he is talking about himself specifically, the context here is krishna explaining himself and thus here he clarifies that he is the same supreme God that stays in the heart of all.
in this way we can see that even if krishna talks of another supreme god, wen a complete analysis is made, it comes out that the supreme god is krishna himself.
thus the difference in usage apparently makes a doubt whether krishna is refering to another god or himself can be cleared when the context is taken.
another famous example is krishna says to a arjuna”be an instrument in the hands of god”. the context here is krishna inspiring arjuna to do his duty faithfully, thus krishna gives weightage to this idea of inspiring arjuna to fight, thus he simply states b an instrument in hands of the supreme god.
but in chapter eleven krishna says”keepining you as an instrument i am executing these adharmic ppl”. here krishna shows his universal form and thus the context is again krishna explainig about himself as the supreme lord to arjuna , thus he refers to himself.
from these few examples we understand that even if krishna is referring to another god, he is actually refering to himself indirectly. the confusin comes bcoz of the difference in context.but a complete study of the geetha will erase this confusion.i hope this gives an answer to ur confusion/question.i will get the verses and the chapters i refered to above not now later.

“Also, please note that there is mention of other gods in GEETA. Let us know if it is in good words or it is in derogatory words.”
answer: no there are no detegatory terms used.

as for the other gods, these are actually demigods that i refered above. there is no contracdiction if u can understand the whole concept. this takes me some toime to explain. but i am wrking on another topic now which i mentioned above. please remind me of this question later

one thing, wat i gave is only a small tip of an iceberg, hinduism is a vast ocean, thus wat i said cannot be taken as final word in hinduism, please read the geetha fully for ur benefit so that u can understand more.

  32. sir i was doing a bit research in the case “no idol worship in the vedas” and this my response to those who put forth such a claim.
to explain this let me indtroduce to u some of the basic theological metaphysical concepts of god according to hinduiam. as per the vedic texts, god has two aspects, the personal(god as aperson to whom one can communicate) this is called bhagavan, ishwara, etc. the other is the formless aspect or the brahman aspect. this brahman is the expansion of god by which he pervades the entire cosmic manifestation as a spirit.this spirit (soul) which enters into the universe when it is creates(rather”manifested from the unmanifested primeval form as the external energy of god’ read chapter 9 of the geetha).the brahman aspect of god is as the formless spirit that pervades the entire universe, th giant cosmic spirit which has nothing to do with matter, energy(mATERIAL universe).the great sages of ancient india meditated on this formless spirit(brahman) and attained union with it. this is because they started to enquire about”who am i” and discovered that they are not their body but their spirit(soul) and that this soul within them is itself a part of the universal spirit brahman, which was one aspect of the supreme lord.in this way they discovered the unity they had with the entire universe and every element in it. now this spirit is formless, all pervasive and have no form.the verses refering to “god has no form, no matter is to be worshipped”etc. are said from this idea of unmanifested brahman conception which is also an expansion of the supreme lord. but god has another aspect- bhagavan or personal aspect. those who have bhakthi*(devotion) worship god in his personal aspect- worships him in his personal form as a deity. bhakthi guys thus worship the Supreme Lord Sri Krishna in his form fixed in their heart.

now please read the following description, this is what i hav emailed to a famous person who has accused hindus for worshipping idols, God with form wen the vedas say there is no form to god.

there are two basic aspects of god-1. unmanifested brahman(impersonal aspect of god) which is formless, immovable, inert, underlying principle, etc.2. bhagvan aspect of god, which is the personal aspect of god. this personal aspect of god requires a form and that is the form of the god which we worship.both these aspects are acceptable in hinduism.
wen the vedas talk about the “formless god”, it clearly refers to the unmanifested brahman conception and this path is fo,llowed by ppl such as sages who meditate, etc. however as far as a devotee is concerned, it is enough to worship god in the bhagvan aspect of god, this god says in the geetha itself.more over, worshipping god in the personal aspect is superior to unmanifested brahman worship because in the geetha, god says thateven the brahnman itself is his(in personal aspect, or as a person) projection or something expansion as we call.this is what it is. thus worshipping god with a form is not a big sin in hinduism. the verses that talk of worshipping god in a formless aspect without an idol are said in the interest of imoersonal brahman worshippers. this is the basic ideas in hindu scriptures, especially the bhagavath geetha.

one thing is that there is no compulsion that one must only follow the way of contemplating/meditating upon the formless aspect of G-D,we can follow the path we like, all reaches the same destination because all the aspects that are worshipped are the different aspect of the sameSUPREME LORD GOD himself.

the sad part is that many hindus does not know much about this.it took me a lot of time to study them. anyway, sir, thank u very much for sharing ur thoughts with me.
    may god always bless u

  33. Why many religions(Hindu,Islam,Christian,Budhha, etc.) in this world? The reason is that they all r praying Kaal god. They r not praying supreme god.

  34. Thank you saroj for your detailed post of 29 Sept. You have done much effort to find a way for worshipping the idols. I will think about that and reply later. I need to understand your post a lot more. I had become busy and went away some where.
I feel what you have written is the best explanation of the holy Geeta, about Brahman etc.
I need to read the chapter 9 of holy Geeta again. I am sorry, I could not comply to your request. You have to wait.

I am Christian by birth as my parents are christian i had a friend who told me dat christain ans muslim religion as a similarity so want to clear my doubt on few things I only have 2 question to ask you which answer I didnt got from either Christian Scholar neither by Muslim Scholar. I would request you can u plz clear my doubt her are my question

    1) why bad things happen with good people?

    2) If Jesus/Allah/Krishna loves every human being then why is there so much of partiality like Some people are born in rich family some are not, some have healthy body some are born handicap

  36. Your question pertains to suffering. Please visit alislam.org and seek a book “Revelation. Rationality, knowledge and truth”. In that book is a chapter on suffering. I hope it will explain to you about your question. Also try this link:

    https://www.alislam.org/library/books/revelation/index.html

Answer will be found on pages 179 to 193. I present a few pages here:
    The Question of Suffering

WHEN WE EXPLORE the history of evolution in search of the causative factors which gave birth to the sensory organs as life evolved, we can safely conclude that right from the beginning they have always been the sense of loss and gain. We identify the journey of evolution to be a long procession of some obscure realization of gains and losses which gradually evolved the sensory organs to register the presence of pleasure and pain, comfort and suffering. ……… +++++
Thus, the sensory provisions for the recognition of suffering and happiness are indispensable to each other. It is quite likely that if the level to which suffering can be experienced is reduced, its opposite number, the capacity to feel pleasure and happiness, will also be lowered to the same degree. The two seem to participate equally in propelling the wheel of evolution; both possess equal significance. One cannot be done away with alone without the other, thus nullifying the entire creative plan of evolution.

We understand from the Holy Quran, that God did not create suffering as an independent entity in its own right, but only as an indispensable counterpart of pleasure and comfort. The absence of happiness is suffering, which is like its shadow, just as darkness is the shadow cast by the absence of light. If there is life, there has to be death; both are situated at the extreme poles of the same plane, with innumerable grades and shades in between. As we move away from death, we gradually move towards a state of life which is happiness; as we move away from life, we move away with a sense of loss and sorrow towards death. This is the key to understanding the struggle for existence, which in turn leads to a constant improvement in the quality of life and helps it to achieve the ultimate goal of evolution. The principle of the “survival of the fittest” plays an integral role in this grand scheme of evolution.
……..(My remarks: If there is no suffering then there will be no happiness too.)

  37. The word Krishna means the one who attracts and Allah means one without a second. Ekmev Adwitiya Brahma or Ape Nironjon one without attributes. Hence as Allah or Nirgun Nirakar Brahma has no shape Krishna can be a philosopher, an ideal king, social reformer, religious reformer. As the Holy Quran mentions 124000 prophets and only 9 are named in it, the only option remains that Krishna is a Nabi who taught love to the society. You might be aware that in Bangladesh Muslims have written about 1000 bhajans on Lord Krishna and Bauls are both Muslims and Hindus and Sufism is very close to Bhakti. So no offence.

  38. I believe in UNITY but not UNIFORMITY.

well done. But Islam as taught by Ahamadiya community seeks the Arabianisation of Entire world, which is the bane of Islam.I invite and request all Ahamadiya Muslims to read the complete works of Swami Vivekananda to know what Hindu religion is.In syria the ancient monuments are being reduced to dust by Pro-Arab ISIS terrorists. The Director of Museum was killed by them.Mohammed – is an Arabian.Islam extolls and presents him as the role model for the entire humanity.A Muslim is an Arabian on Non-Arab soil.
I exhorts Ahamadiya community of India to dissociate from Arab imperialistic designs and develop individualistic culture – Ahamadi women shall wear ” Thilagam” on their forehead. It would promote social movements.

  39. The point of contention is not who is right or wrong, after going so many comments on this blog, I realised so many things which I never knew before. But what i can make out of all these conversations is that the bone of contention is our alter ego. Please allow me to explain here why I thinks so – the root cause of all the different views is thinking of our native beliefs and religion to be supreme to other. There are comments in harsh language, good words, kind sentences etc. but all of them tries to prove their point as right, which is starting an ego tussle. What if we allows others to say or believe that they are correct ? Is it going to make difference to our human values if we concede Hidus are correct, Christians are right or Muslims are true in their own sense ? The whole conversation becomes violent when we tries to push our point beyond a limit that our view are right. If one goes through all the comments all agrees to human values but differ when it comes to who is right, who is first, who is older, who is not violent etc. The strife is because of pushing one’s views over others and hence violence starts. The beliefs having manpower, money, arms and hardline approach to their beliefs starts making others to believe their way. Why don’t we leave others to make their own judgement ? why is it not that nature, our learnings, our experiences can decide our beliefs ? Whether Krishna claimed himself to be incarnation of God or not, Phrophet was messenger or God or not is not the whole question, they were great souls, gave us the path to follow and teachings to live by. But truthfully how many of us are adhering to the path shown by them ? Let’s not cross paths of each other’s beliefs but stay true to the path shown by our Gods. But in the end it sums up as ” to err is Human “.

  40. Hye all. I’m Malaysian.
What I believe is; Islam is Islam and Hindu is Hindu.
Both to believe what they should believe in.
No need to mix between one religion to another (even if it is not between Abraham vs. Non-Abraham religions.
Let us all live in harmony.
“I believe in what I believe, and so, you believe in what you believe”. The end.

  41. Hindu religion is very ancient…it has no start and no end as Krishna said in bhagavad geeta. Islam and christ religion prophets says they r followers.but Krishna says he is himself God. Plz do not spread without proof that Krishna is follower of allah or jesus.
