ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Ulema from all schools of thought led by Maulana Muhammad Hanif Jalandhari Saturday called on Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and demanded that Qadianis efforts to defame Pakistan in the United Nations must be effectively countered at the government level.

The Ulema told Qureshi that Qadianis were declared non-Muslims in 1974 in the Constitution of Pakistan and demanded that the government should pursue the case and defend the country, as in 1988 the then president Gen Zia ul Haq had stopped Qadianis petition by sending a mission to explain the country’s stance on the issue.

The delegation also warned the government that if the matter was not properly handled, it might have serious repercussions for the country.

The delegation asked the government to repeat the history and effectively counter Qadianis attempt to malign Pakistan. It said the International Human Rights Organisation had again put up Qadianis case in the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) and unfortunately the Council had approved it for discussion. Maulana Jalandhari informed Qureshi that the people of Pakistan were seriously worried about the issue and warned the government of grave consequences if the case was not properly handled. He also informed Qureshi that Qadianis were continuously propagating and lobbying against Pakistan in all the international forums. The delegation comprised Maulana Farooq Khan Saeedi, Maulana Abdul Ghaffar Naqshbandi, Maulana Khalid Mehmood Nadeem and others. Qureshi assured the delegation of government’s full cooperation on the issue and later presented his cassock gifted by the Saudi King Shah Salman to Maulana Hanif Jalandhari.

  1. We are sure the government of Pakistan will send its delegation to UNHCR to explain why the Qadianis were declared non-Muslims in 1974 after 80 years of efforts along with hundreds of faithfuls embraced martyrdom.

  2. I know that those scholars who declared Ahmadiyyah is not Islam are the extremist intolerant Scholars.( ISIS, TALIBAN, AL QAIDA ETC )

Those scholars reject Human Right whereas Human Right is the core Islamic teaching. Allah order Prophet to protect the right of minority, and do justice for all.
    .
Hopefully, Pakistan Government protect the right of Ahmadiyyah

    • For your kind info, there was no ISIS, Taliban or the Al Qaida when Qadianis were declared non-Muslims in 1974. Parliamentary committee of the National Assembly of Pakistan declared Qadianis (the people who believe in Mirza Qadiani as a promised Messaiah who later claimed to be a prophet in late 19th century) as non-Muslims

      • Yes there were no isis, taliban, but the extremist intolerant idelogy already existed in Pakistan

Ahmadiyyah is Islam, no doubt about it

Who ever believe in God alone and hereafter is Islam or Muslim.

Jews, Christian and Muslim are Islam

All Prophets from Adam to Muhammad were Islam Q.22:78. No doubt about, it is very clear.

        With love ❤️

      • Sorry to say that more than a billion Muslims believe and have no doubt that Ahmadiyya is NOT Islam. How can someone just come and announce that he’s a promised Messiah and later claim to be a prophet when the prophet hood has been completed and ended in the personality of Muhammad (peace be upon him) 1300 years ago?

    • We believe that the teachings of Holy Qur’aan & Hadith are nothing but peace. Now please tell me why the civilized people from the West are killing innocent people in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere using ground forces and drones?

      • Ahmadiyyah, Shiah, Jews, and Christian are Islam. Prophet Adam to Muhammad were Islam

Bible and Al Quran are Islamic teaching from the same God.

Please do not reject what God said. Peace and love ❤️
