BEIJING (AP) — Members of the Uighur Muslim ethnic group held demonstrations in cities around the world to protest a sweeping Chinese surveillance and security campaign that has sent thousands of their people into detention and political indoctrination centers.
Overseas Uighur activists said they planned demonstrations Thursday in 14 countries in total, including the U.S., Australia and Turkey.
More than a hundred Uighur protesters gathered at a plaza near the United Nations in New York to call on the body to protect their culture against Chinese government efforts to assimilate the Turkic-speaking people. Elsewhere, hundreds of Uighur women on Istanbul’s Istiklal Street and in front of Sydney Town Hall chanted and waved blue flags, the separatist symbol for a proposed independent state called East Turkistan.

Most Muslim around the world who live in non majority Islam from China, Rohingya, to Europe countries and USA
are facing threat or fear. What is the problem?
Most Muslim want to impose Syariah law in public like: in school, Hijab, Bank, Grocery, Restaurant, pray on the street and loudspeaker of Mosque.
Progressive Muslim reject such Syariah law—because Islsmmus a peaceful religion, flexible religion, not impose difficulties on Muslim at all.
Only extremist clerics impose difficulties on Muslim.
They are the root of problem in the West countries and China and Rohingya

China Government know very well the goal of freedom of Nuslim want to create SYARIAH LAW OR Islamic states. And then the extremist control the state, the extremist discriminate against non Muslim. That is the problem, a big problem.
If you are a good Muslim you have to obey the existing authority.
If some one rape your daughter or family — tell to police and let police do their job. That is right way as goid citizen.
